Strange walked us back into the New York sanctum, manoeuvring around all the objects and tables and to a large template on the floor of one of the back rooms. Carved into it was the eye on the cover of the book Dawn had given us in London and around the edge were the words that Stark had translated from the Anatolian book. Strange stood beside it, watching me closely as I observed the markings on the ground, taking in what it was telling me and all the connections that were drawn to this carving in the ground.

"What is this?" I asked, walking around the circle and looking back up to Dr Strange, "why wouldn't you have told us about this when we first came to you? When I realised who I was?"

"The Table of the Others," he told me, nodding towards the floor, "it's a centuries-old tablet, made before this Sanctum even existed, it is said to open a rip in the multiverse and contains information far beyond any human knowledge. No one has managed to open it, but I thought that maybe you could. Maybe your blood ... it could open it Y/N."

"Surely it's sealed tight for a reason," I questioned, "someone didn't want us to get in."

"Or didn't want something getting out," Wanda added, looking between us cautiously and biting her cheek.

"The only thing in this world behind the sill are the books you need to find out what you open," Strange replied bluntly.

"How do you know?" Wanda asked, "I thought it's not been opened for centuries, that's what you said right?"

"We don't know for sure," he said, "but I've been told."

"How do we know we can trust you?" Wanda pushed.

"W-what?" Strange asked, "I'm the best you've got."

"Ohmygod," I sighed quickly, grabbing a small knife from my pocket and slicing the palm of my hand open, wincing and letting my blood drip down onto the floor beneath me, its worth a shot right?

"Y/N NO," Wanda shouted, grabbing my hand and wrapping her own hands around it, "why the fuck would you do that ... you promised me you wouldn't hurt yourself."

"No. Wanda, look," I whispered, looking down at the floor that was slowly opening beneath us.

She looked down and pulled me away from the floor, watching as it opened in front of us.

"You opened it," Strange smiled.

"Zamolchi (shut up)," Wanda sighed, flicking Strange back with her powers and throwing him against the wall, knocking him unconscious.

"Wanda," I complained, looking over at Strange in worry.

She shook her head, "he's not with us."

"What?" I pushed.

"That's not Dr Strange," she told me.

I furrowed my brows, and she shrugged her shoulders.

"I can feel it," she said, "that's not him, I don't know what that is ... but it's not Stephen Strange."

I nodded slowly, turning my eyes back to the sill that had just been opened ... by me. Wanda squeezed my hand and smiled softly at me.

"We're going in that big hole in the ground, aren't we?" she asked.

I nodded with a small giggle, "looks like it."

She hummed and walked with me to the edge, looking down at the dark pit in front of us.

"Wait," I sighed, squeezing her hand gently.

She turned around to face me and furrowed her brows. Cupping her cheeks, I smashed my lips against hers, kissing her harshly. She sighed and kissed me back, pulling me in gently by my waist until I felt a small dip of salt wash into the kiss from Wanda's tears. I pulled away and smiled sadly at her, leaning our foreheads together.

"It's going to be fine," I told her, trying to clean off the blood I just got on her cheek from cupping her face.

"We're about to jump into a hole in the ground," she told me.

I giggled slightly and nodded, biting my bottom lip, "I love you, Wanda Maximoff."

"I love you too," she whispered, "are you sure about this?"

I shook my head slowly, "you?"

"No," she answered quickly.

"Let's go diving," I smirked, holding her hand tightly and looking down into the hole.

We both took a deep breath and I nodded slowly, dropping Wanda's hand and dropping down the hole.

"Y/N!" Wanda shouted after me, jumping in quickly and falling down with me until we stopped falling and started ... floating?

"Wands?" I asked, turning around and taking a breath of relief when I saw my girlfriend floating towards me.

"Where are we?" she asked, grabbing hold of my hand.

"Y/N?" a male voice asked from the distance.

I turned over and saw Nezzar, looking back at me with furrowed brows. I squeezed Wanda's hand to check I wasn't dreaming, and she squeezed it back.

Nope, this is definitely real.

"How did you get here?" he asked, pulling us towards him with his abilities.

I shook my head slowly, "there was a doorway in the New York Sanctum. I think I opened it."

"You think?" he asked.

"She opened it," Wanda added.

"Wanda Maximoff," Nezzar smiled, "it's nice to meet you."

"You too, I think?" she replied, "we um- we have more information on the key."

I nodded in agreement, pulling my girlfriend over to the small chairs Nezzar had made for us to sit on.

"My blood, that's the key," I said slowly.

"That's how you got here," he concluded.

I nodded quickly, "I cut my-" I showed him my hand which was now fully healed, "I um- I cut my hand b-but it doesn't look like that now ... which is weird."

"You're in our world now," he told me, "what's ours is yours."

I nodded again and turned to look at Wanda who was furrowing her brows at the whole situation.

"We need your guidance," my girlfriend voiced, "what do we need to do now?"

"I don't think you're going to like what I'm going to say," Nezzar frowned, leaning back in his chair.

"What is it?" I sighed, closing my eyes dramatically.

"The only way to close the sill, to stop the tear in the multiverse, is to experience all of your own multiverses," Nezzar told us.

"What do you mean?" I asked cautiously.

"That door," he said, pointing to a small white wooden door on the far side of wherever we were sat, "leads you to your first multiverse."

"If it's Y/N's multiverse," Wanda started, "won't there already be a Y/N there?"

He nodded and smiled, "you might just want to befriend her."

"I can't believe this is my life," I sighed, standing up and watching as Wanda joined me, "so I need to go through that very human-looking door in this weird space world; meet my multiversal self and that will stop the rupture of the universe?"

He took in my words and nodded slowly, "that sums it up."

"Great," I sighed, "thank you for your minimal effort to help us brother."

"Good luck Y/N," he smiled, "don't do anything stupid."

"Now you're sounding like my mama," I smirked, grabbing the handle of the door and slowly pushing it open into a brightly coloured room with loud music.

Wanda put her hand on the small of my back and nodded with a reassuring smile, "let's do this."

"Let's do this," I smiled, walking through and closing the door behind us.
