Once I finally reopened my eyes, I was in a bed in the Avengers compound. Furrowing my brows, quickly looked around and noticed Wanda sitting on the chair next to me with her eyes shut, sleeping peacefully. I opened my mouth to speak but felt a touch of plastic down my throat. Coughing loudly, I woke Wanda  up and her eyes widened, using her abilities to bring the tube out of my neck and placing it on the side, handing me a glass of water. I took a small sip as I watched my girlfriend press the red alarm button next to my bed. The next thing I remember is Stark running into the room and smiling when he saw me awake.

"Oh thank god," he sighed, "Romanoff's on her way."

Wanda nodded and took her seat back down, grabbing my hand and holding it lightly, rubbing her thumb over my knuckles.

"W-what happened?" I croaked, my voice hoarse.

"We ended up back in our reality," she whispered.

I furrowed my brows and groaned as I sat up slowly, "what?"

"Your um- your-" Wanda stuttered.

"Your mind was warped," Stark finished, "Dr Strange, something took over his body, and he gave you false directions."

"What do you mean?" I pushed.

"I was right," Wanda smiled sadly, "he wasn't himself. We've done some research and we came across a book called the Darkhold, it corrupts all of its readers and it seems that Strange got his hands on it."

"S-so everything we did-"

"Yeah," she frowned, "we kind of fucked up the timeline a little bit."

"How badly?" I asked, turning my head to Stark.

"Nothing we couldn't fix kid, Wanda went back and sorted out everyone you guys had interacted with. None of them remember you but the good work you guys did, it remains," he told me.

I nodded slowly, "when did you get time to go back?" I asked my girlfriend.

"You've been out for a while," she whispered, her eyes becoming glossy.

"I'm so confused," I sighed, running my hand over my hair, feeling the length with my fingertips, "why is my hair not fully buzzed ... how long was I out Wanda?"

"You've been out for about a month," she smiled sadly.

I closed my eyes slowly and nodded.

"You are also ... 20 now," Stark added slowly.

"What?" I asked.

Wanda squeezed my hand, "our little adventures ... we were gone for two years Y/N."

I shook my head quickly, "no ... we- we weren't."

She nodded, "you said it yourself, Asgard moves at a different pace, we just didn't consider that it was going to affect our reality the way it did."

"Natasha?" I questioned.

"She's okay," Stark smiled and nodded towards the door, "and she's here."

I turned my head towards the door and smiled at my mother looking back at me with a sad smile. Wanda kissed the back of my hand and stood up.

"I'll be back in a bit," she smiled softly.

Stark joined her and closed the door behind them, letting Nat walk towards me. She looked sadder than ever before, she was thin, and her lips were chapped. Her eyes were red from where she had obviously been crying and the skin around her nails was scabbed.

"Hi," I sighed.

"Hey detka," she smiled sadly, pulling me into a tight hug, "I've missed you more than you can even imagine."

"I'm so sorry," I whispered as she pulled away and sat on the side of the bed, cupping my face, "I didn't know how long it had been. I'm so so sorry."

"None of this is your fault malysh, you were misled by someone who you thought you could trust."

I nodded slowly and took a deep breath, "your hair is blonde."

She giggled as she cried softly, "it is ...your hair is very short."

"Yeah," I smiled.

"When on the run," she smirked.

"What did you get up to while Wanda and I were travelling through space and time?" I smirked.

"I took down the red room," she smiled proudly, "Dreykov is dead, it's over."

"R-really?" I asked softly.

She nodded with an even bigger smile, "it's done."

"And you saw his body?" I assured.

She nodded again, "he's gone Y/N, I saw the body."

I took a shaky breath and leaned my head back on the bed.

"We're all off the hook as well," Nat added.

I picked my head up and furrowed my brows, "what?"

"None of us are criminals anymore," she clarified, "there is a big bad and they need us."

"Already?" I sighed, "what is so important that we're already back in action?"

She smiled sadly and kissed my hairline, "the end of the world."

"Seems a bit dramatic," I groaned.

She giggled and nodded her head, "it is ... big purple guy is after the infinity stones. He wants to wipe out half of the population."

"Shit," I sighed.

She nodded once more, "are you in?"

I smiled slowly and sat up, my eyes flashing a bright purple as all of the needles in my skin popped out and I physically rose out of the hospital bed.

"Let's kick his ass," I smirked, holding my hand out towards her.

"Whatever it takes," she smiled proudly, taking my hand in her own and giving it a small squeeze.
