"I don't know what to wear," I sighed, looking at my entire wardrobe on the floor of my room.

Maria and Nat sat on my bed, more invested in each other than in helping me find an outfit for my date tonight.

"Guys," I said, raising my voice slightly.

"Yes, sorry, what?" Maria asked with a giggle.

"Are you going to help me pick an outfit or do I need to get Steve?" I replied.

"Steve knows?" Nat questioned.

I nodded.

"And Vision knows?" she asked again.

I nodded once more.

"So who doesn't know?" Maria said.

"Stark," I replied, "we'll tell everyone eventually, but we just need some time to ourselves first."

They both nodded and looked at each other and then back at me.

"What?" I asked.

Natasha shook her head, "doesn't matter dekta; outfit?" she threw back at me, picking up some clothes off my floor.

"Except it obviously does matter," I muttered, "what is it?"

"Has she come out?" Maria asked.

"Like ... as gay?" I replied.

They both nodded.

"Who is she going to come out to? You said it yourself, the only family she had left is gone," I replied.

Maria nodded slowly, "and you like her?"

"No Mia, I'm just dating her because I thought it would spice up my life a little," I barked sarcastically.

"Say that again," Nat smiled.

"What?" I asked.

"Repeat that first line again," she smirked, sitting on Maria's knees.

"I'm dating her? ... I'm dating her," I whispered.

"You're dating her," Nat smiled.

"No- I mean, we're going on dates but we're not dating," I defended.

"So you're going on dates, you're defending her name, you're kissing her and doing god knows what else but you're not dating?" Maria asked with a smirk.

"Um I- I don't know," I mumbled.

"You're dating her," Natasha said again, "you don't need to be embarrassed."

"I'm not," I replied.

Maria hummed, "black dress."

"Long or short?" I asked.

"Short," Natasha finished.

I nodded, "you can go now ... thank you."

Natasha kissed my head and linked her fingers with Maria, leaving me on my own again. I looked at the black dress and put it on over my lace set that was worn with the intention of other eyes seeing it tonight. I bit down on my bottom lip as I looked at my reflection and smiled at the thought of tonight. This was the first date I had been on in a long, long time and I was verging on excitement. My music was playing and when I turned around my door was open, and Wanda was standing there in a small red dress with a bunch of flowers.

"Hi," I smiled, opening my arms for her.

She giggled and ran forward, hugging me tightly and then crashing her lips against mine. I hummed and reluctantly pulled away as she handed me the flowers.
