Addison is walking down the hall, completely oblivious to anything out of the ordinary, until she catches a glimpse of familiar blonde haired woman.

"Sav!" Addison calls out in surprise. She opens her arms out to the woman, so happy to see one of her good friends from New York.

"Oh it's good to see you." Savannah says with a sigh as she hugs Addison. They hug tightly, making up for all the lost time. "Where's that beautiful little baby of yours?" She asks Addison as they pull apart.

"She's spending the day with Mark, she had a rough night."

"Wait Mark? Mark is here?"

"Boy do I have a lot to fill you in on." Addison tells her with a little laugh.

"I can't wait to hear all about it."

"Oh why didn't you tell me you were coming? If I knew you were coming I would've taken the day off, or at least made sure Josie was here." Addison questions, changing the subject back to Sav.

"Well it was kinda last minute." Her friend responds. Her face drops a little and Addison can tell that this visit may be something more than just a friend visiting a friend.

"Is everything okay? Are you alright?" Addie questions.

Meanwhile in an empty conference room Derek and Weiss are talking at a table, both men holding cups of hot coffee.

"A month ago her mother died. Ovarian cancer." Weiss tells Derek.

"Katherine died?" Derek asks. Weiss nods. "I'm sorry."

"That's Savvy, she's... I mean you know how close they were. I mean all she could think about was this breast and ovarian cancer gene."

"BRACA." Derek nods in understanding.

Back with Addison and Savvy who are now in a similar room Addison is looking over Savvy's file.

"A positive test result isn't the end of the world Sav. It just means that you have a gene mutation that could ..." Savannah interrupts her softly.

"I know what it is. I've talked to the genetic counselor. I've been to my gynecologist ... and now I'm here." Addison sits back, still holding the file her hand. Savvy sits down across from her pleading. "Addie, you're the best surgeon there is." Addison smiles.

"True." They both chuckle a little. "But this isn't surgical."

"Yes it is." Savannah insists.

"No Sav, you don't understand you don't have cancer."

"And I have no intention of getting it." Addison stares at her quietly, she shakes her head lightly, trying to wrap her head around her her friend is asking.

"So you want me ..."

"I want you to take out my ovaries and the uterus. And when that's done ... you're gonna find the best person out there to cut off my breasts."

Savannah, Addison, and Weiss are now all convened together in one of the conference rooms, discussing Savannahs wishes. Weiss is sitting on one side of the table while the women are sitting together on the other side. Izzie is standing at the door observing since she's Addison's intern for the day.

"My mother died of it. My aunt. My cousin! She's 37, has ovarian cancer." Savannah explains emotionally.

"But you don't. You don't have cancer! This is crazy Sav." Her husband argues.

"But I have the gene Weiss ..." Derek walks into the room, squeezing past Izzie, as Addison interrupts Weiss.

"Which gives her up to an 85% chance of getting cancer Weiss." She tells him.
