"I can't even believe him!" Izzie exclaims emotionally as she stands in Meredith's kitchen pouring herself a cup of coffee. "He seriously slept with a nurse!" She tells Meredith and George who are sitting at the island. She quiets down as Derek and Josie walk into the room. Hoping that the child hadn't overheard too much.

"Gooood morningggg." Josie sings happily.

"Someone woke up in a good mood." Meredith says with a smile. Josie nods.

"I did." She answers with a proud smirk. "I had good dreams."

"Yeah? What did you dream about?" Meredith Izzie asks her.

"We got a puppy!" She chirps. "Best dream ever. I wish it was real life."

"You hear that Daddy? A puppy." Meredith says to Derek with a smirk." He raises his eyebrows at her, with a 'yeah right' look on his face.

"And today is show and tell at daycare. I get to show all my friends Anatomy Janes organs. I'm gonna take her all apart and show them how she goes back together again."  Josie explains, completely changing the subject as she follows her own little train of thought. Meredith looks at Derek with so much pride toward the little girl. She's so smart for her age, far more advanced than any child her age that they've ever met.

"That's amazing honey." Meredith replies.

"I hope i don't forget any. I know I won't forget kidneys, because they look like the beans and I know beans. I like beans." The seriousness in her voice was so comical to the adults. She's hilarious and it makes it even funnier that she has no idea.

"You're going to do amazing." Derek reassures her.

"Are you hungry honey? We don't have much time but George got pop tarts." Izzie asks her.

"Hmm, what kind?" The little girls questions skeptically.

"S'mores." George tells her. Josie smiles.

"Oo yes please." Derek rolls his eyes and chuckles. That girl is always all for anything chocolate related. Izzie pulls a pack out of the box and hands it to her. "Thank you Georgie"

"Anytime kid." He reaches over and ruffles her hair gently.

"Alright we're gonna have to take that to go, daddy needs to be in a little early today." Derek announces. Josie groans.

"Yeah, yeah." She mumbles.

"Hey, you don't want to be late for show and tell do you?" Her father teases lightly. Josie tries to hide a little smile.

"No, I do not."

"Okay, then go get your shoes silly." Jojo giggles, dropping all semblance of an attitude and hurries off to put her shoes on, pop tarts in hand. Derek shakes his head, smiling a little. "Boy we're going to have our hands full with that one." He comments. Meredith laughs.

"You're just figuring that out?"

Derek is at the hospital standing over an unconscious patient taking some notes. The curtain opens and Doctor Bailey is standing there with her group of interns, Meredith included.

"Oh Dr. Shepherd, you're in here early... if you'd like us to come back?" Bailey asks.

"No go ahead." Derek replies, his face grim.

"Robert Martin. 45. Collapsed and hit his head which caused a small subdural hemorrhage." Meredith starts recounting out loud.

"That was the problem." Derek pipes in, his voice full of anger he's trying to control. He looks pointedly at Alex.
