Almost two year passed after Karna's marriage. In the meantime, many things happened in Anga. Duryodhana won over Banga as the foolish king attacked them but Duryodhana and his well-trained army easily defeated them as well as Bhagdutta the king of Pragjyotish. Bahgdutta after defeat agreed to stay as Anga's vassal and Banga came under the rule of Anga. So now they had many fertile lands, more army and a better economy than HP. Also Hidimba gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The entire kingdom rejoiced to see the boy. His body was as strong as Vajra and his smile was as bright as the full moon. Sage Shukracharya, Sage Ved vyas, Sage Vasishta and Devi Arundhati came to bless the baby. King Bali sent many gifts on the occasion of the birth of a member of Rakshas royal family. The astrologers predicted that the boy was going to be one of the greatest warriors of the entire Yug and a protector of his family. The rakshasas who came with Hidimba all came to the palace to bless their prince and gave him gifts. Maydanav prepared a special swing for him which would move by itself when the baby slept on it. On the naming day, Susshasshan named him Ghatotkach. 

The most hilarious thing happened in Yuyutsu's's marriage. Dwarka king Vasudev sent a marriage proposal for Suvadra as she liked Yuyutsu for his knowledge. However Indraputra Arjun, same as his grandfather tried to abduct her to get Dwarka's support. But when Shri Krishna himself was against the union who could do anything. Arjun attacked Subhadra when she went to Shiv temple along with his soldiers. But Kaurava brothers caught them. Arjun thought that being the "best archer" of the world he could easily overpower the Kaurava brothers. But to his great shock, the brothers were so strong that even his weapons could not reach them. They were fighting in a style that he did not even know. Suyodhana became strong that he could lift his chariot with one hand. Susshashan could create a bright shield not only around himself but also around all their brothers and soldiers. Vikarna could control weapons having powers of elements like water, fire and air against the soldiers. Arjun tried to call his more soldiers but to his astonishment, Yuyutsu called weapons that had powers of wild animals and poisonous plants and made all the soldiers unconscious. Arjun tried to use Brahmmastra but he did not be able to recall any mantra to call the weapons. He remembered the curse given by the rakshas priest in Rakshasvan. They then tied Arjun to a poll near the Vivah mandap and conducted all the rituals in front of him. 

After the marriage was conducted, Suyodhana went to Arjun and said, 'You tried to touch the kulvadu of Kuru Vansh. You did not learn your lesson even after Gurudev Aditya and his rakshak's gave your brothers such humiliating punishment. You even brought soldiers to Dwarka. Now King Vasudev will decide to do to you.'

King Vasudev and Balram wanted to teach him a good lesson but did not want to do any bodily harm as he was the son of their relative. So they just shaved his head and mustache and sent him back to HP. 

What Arjun did not know was that in these years, Aditya and his rakshaks trained the Kaurava brothers not only in weapons but also helped them in evoking their inner powers. All four brothers after the initial stage of meditation felt a deep sensation within themselves. As if something was stirring in them, unbound energy was going to erupt and come out from them. Slowly they got used to the sensation and trained hard under Aditya. Slowly they realized that they got certain powers. They even asked him about the newfound powers but Aditya just said, 'It is your journey and you have to discover yourselves.' The Kauravas always believed their Guru but sad about one thing, Aditya never revealed his identity to them.
