First Step

After Susshala's marriage and the revelation of Shakuni's identity, Kaurava's enthusiasm reached its peak. Shakuni was also very happy after properly meeting his family. Karna proposed to appoint Shakuni as the Mahamahim of Anga which Suyodhana agreed. Bhanumati also gave birth to twins Lakshman and Lakshmana. Many kingdoms now were interested in sending alliance proposals to Anga-Magadha to get their favor. But even in the situation of happiness, one person was agitated. The wife of the king's main minister and best friend, Vrushali. In the last two years, Vrushali also changed. In the first month, she always remained agitated and angry. But after a couple of months of her marriage, she got a high fever one day and at that time, Radha, Adhirath, Gandhari, Susshala, Bhanumati even Hidimba took care of her. They spent many sleepless nights giving her cold packs, and medicines. Gandhari and Radha themselves made tasty but healthy food for her. In Vidarva, if she had any fever, her mother never came near her. She just sent a few maids to take care of her. But here in Anga, though they belonged to the royal family, still served her as their own daughter. Vrushali felt very ashamed a slowly she realized that while staying in Anga, something...like a heavy burden was lifted from her soul. She realized that till birth, she had a void, a pain in her earth. But now as if she became complete again. She mended her relationship with Adhirath, Radha and the royal family of Anga but still, she was angry with Karna or that she herself believed. She from her parents came to know that Mrinalini left Vidarva and no one knew where she went. And Vrushali was blaming Karna for it. 

But her dreams were getting more vivid day by day. She saw a huge Yagna with the fire reaching the sky, then a person coming out from the fire, though his face was not clear but he seemed familiar. Then a beautiful girl playing in a garden, the garden, the palace every place looked out of the world, someone was saying, 'Niyati I will find you soon.' Every night she woke up seeing the dreams, She felt that those were not mere dreams, they seemed real to her. Vrushali wanted to know about those dreams, also she had another mystery to handle...her husband Karna. Every night when she woke up, she saw Karna was sitting beside her with a glass of water. He never told her anything but from his behavior, it was quite clear that he knew about her predicament. Karna was a real mystery, sometimes he left the palace without informing anyone. Where he went, what he was doing, nobody knew. Vrushali had a feeling that Karna was hiding something big but she herself did not know what. But she realized that slowly she was developing a feeling for Karna but she was trying to deny her feelings.

Panuti aka Mrinalini was meditating for a long time. For the last two years, she has been in deep penance to activate the 'Mani'. She was praying to Dev Vasusen so that he could help her in achieving the impssible. The mani was a mantraprasad of Devi Niyati and Dev Vasusen was Niyati's other half, so he could have the power to actiavte it. Even if he could not activate the Mani, atleast she could ask for any boon from him. But still now she was unable to please him.

Pandavas were planning to ruin Anga. They knew that they could not fight with the mighty Kauravas. The fame and glory of Kauravas had spread to the entire Aryavarta. Even some people were calling them the true Kurus, while Pandavas 'fake', 'sinners'. Some people even had the audacity to call the Pandavas 'false devputras'. They said that if the Pandavas were real sons of devs then why did they not have any qualities of their fathers in them? Also, after seeing the mystic strengths in Kauravas, the people started saying,'Kauravas were not bad omens but true sons of Shiv Bhakt Sati's. They are really mantraprasad of Shivji while the Pandavas are nothing but disgrace in the name of Kuruvansh.' They were even doubting Kunti's claim about being impregnated by Devas. All these irked the Pandavas while Bheesm realized how wrong he was about the Kauravas. After seeing Pandavas incompetence, he really wanted to leave HP but he was helpless. His vow to his father stopped him. One day the Pandavas called for a secret meeting with their Mama and Queen Priyamvada along with Queen Sulochana. Sulochana after losing both her daughters wanted revenge from Kauravas. But they knew it was impossible for them even together to fight against Anga. Also, they lost many small kingdoms from Madra, who made an alliance with Gandhar and Uttar Panchal and continuously attacked HP. Sulochana did not have any love for her daughters, she just wanted to fulfill her ego, her daughters were mere tools to boost her pride. She wanted to marry them off to some great royal family but now one of them was missing and the other became the wife of a mere minister.  King Chandraketu became sick due to his worry for his daughters and seeing this as an opportunity Queen Sulochana seized the power. Now Vidharva was in chaos but Queen Sulochana had only one goal in her life....destroy Karna. For that, she needed help from others as Vidharva's military power was not that strong and who was better than the esteemed Devputras who also had grudges against that low-born bastard. Enemy of the enemy were friends.
