Gandhari returned to her chamber and called all her family members.

Gandhari, 'I made a decision about Hansini. I think you all noticed  the blood mark on her forehead. I know it was unintentional but by law she is the wife of Susshashan now.  I know what I am saying is a bit hard to digest....she is a Rakshasi and moreover a mother of someone else's child. But our aradhya themselves had orchestrated the union. Devi Parvati herself gave me the indication. But I want all of your suggestions. Susshashana, there is no compulsion. I don't want to force you with anything. But I will request you to think about your decision.'

Everyone was shocked but knew whatever Gandhari was saying, there was a reason behind it. Gandhari was a wise woman who always took fair decision, so everyone agreed with her decision in their mind. However, no one dared to voice it as it would be an injustice to Susshasan if he agreed to the marriage due to the family pressure. Susshasan was also shocked but he knew whatever his mother was saying was true. His blood fell on Hansini's forehead, so now she was his wife. He knew it was really hard for him to digest the fact that he was married that too a Rakshasi who was carrying the child of his greatest enemy in her womb. But he was true gentleman and could never back off from his duty. So he said, 'Mother I will do whatever you ask me to. I will marry Devi Hansini.'

Dhritarashtra, 'My dear son, I am proud of you. But think again as it is big decision. You should always remain faithful to her and respect her. Also you have to accept her child and give him/her the love of a father. Can you do that? If you have this much faith, only then marry her. Otherwise don't ruin her life more.'

Susshasan, 'Pitashree, I am your son and I will never back off from any duties. And let me assure you all, I will always respect her and treat her child as my own. I am promising it in the name of you and mata.'

Everyone was glad. Bhanu went to Hidimba's chamber and inform her about the upcoming ceremony. At first Hidimba denied saying, 'Maharani, you all already did many things for me. Please don't put me under more debts. I cannot take this charity and definitely, I am not going to destroy prince Susshasan's life.'

But Gandhari told her, 'My dear, you are already bonded to Susshasan. And moreover it was God's wish, so who are we to deny it. And never think it as a charity. It is our family members who did such atrocities to you. Now please give us a chance to atone it.'

Suyo declared Susshasan's marriage to Devi Hidimba who was the princess of Rakshasa clan. He knew for this he was going to face tremendous backlash from the other royalties of Aryavart as well as from upper class people but he did not care. He was a fair ruler and would do everything to protect Hidimba's dignity.

They cut all ties with Aryavart because people do not give them enough respect. But now Suyo is making one of their member the kulvadu of his family, so he will definitely make an alliance with Anga. And I know human quite well. Once they will hear about Anga's prosperity, they will forget everything and make alliance with Anga.'
