Many times you will see italics when people speak, that is showing it is being said in Korean.

A year had passed since I last saw her. I regretted scaring her away in the way that I did. I bit my nail, wondering how she was, where she was, was she still with her boyfriend?
"Sa-jang-nim, we have these files that need to be looked over." I turned over to see Ha-eun.I sighed. Grabbing the papers I looked up at her.
"Is this all?" I questioned, she nodded, turning to leave. I flipped the first page before I heard her voice again.
"Do you think we could chat after work today? Maybe over drinks?" She asked, I looked back up, her dull face matched mine, I nodded, signing off the first paper.
I wasn't stupid. I kind of thought she liked me, but she just didn't show any signs at all. I didn't like her back, make no mistake, she wasn't exactly my type. How would she react knowing I'm doing all this for a girl? I hope she isn't the stingy type.
"Thank you for taking this time to meet with me, Sa-Jang-nim." She spoke gracefully. Yuck, I like it better when girls are messy.
"We're outside of work, please address me without formality. Just call me Dak-Ho." I said, her face reddened which only made me want to get this over with faster. I thought about Milan, I wish it was her saying this to me instead.
"You can address me as Ha-eun then." She smiled, taking a sip of the beer she ordered. I liked vodka better.
"You said you wanted to chat?" I spoke, I had things to do, I would have to book a plane ticket soon if Milan hadn't come back to Korea yet. No, you have to become CEO before doing anything.
"Mhm, I was wondering..." She fidgeted with her fingers, which was the one thing her and Milan had alike, but Milan did it better. "Are you dating someone right now?" I looked at her, shaking my head. She smiled. "I was only asking because... well, would you like to go on a date with me?" She got up and bowed, she kind of shouted it, which I wished she didn't because all eyes were on us, someone was even recording.
That didn't stop me however, as I stood up to reject her. "No." I said, bowing before leaving. She stood, starstruck. These were always my favorites, embarrassing them simply because they weren't like Milan. I thought back, it would be better to just have her work for me at this point.
I hadn't killed in months, there was nobody to kill. Ex-convicts were running out and nobody I disliked really were alive anymore. I wondered once more if she had broken up with Luka or Luke or whoever she was with before, that would be perfect. Tomorrow was going to be awkward, I braced myself.
I was right.
There were girls whispering about how I rejected Ha-eun. Word got out quicker than expected. I stacked my remaining files up, before one of my male colleagues came in. His name was Lee... something, I couldn't remember but I knew he worked hard.
"Come in." I sighed.
"Sorry to bother you, the Chairman wishes to see you." I threw my hands back, sighing loudly. I nodded, following him up to the top floor. This shit sucked. This is what I mainly hated the most, seeing my father for anytime longer than needed. I fiddled with something else I took with me when I went to Milan's apartment, a small ring, it was nothing special, but it was made of obsidian, causing it to have a purple to black hue. It got rid of my anxiety.
