"Pheebs, I don't want to go out tonight." You said as you watched her from your bed. Phoebe was in your bathroom getting ready for the typical Friday night party that was happening on your college campus. Phoebe and you were going back and forth about you going as well.
She finished up her glittery eye makeup before she turned her attention to you. "You're going, you don't need to mope around here tonight."
Phoebe and you had been best friends for years. The two of you guys grew up together and were practically sisters. When you guys both started college, the two of you got an apartment together.
When it came to college, the two of you were complete opposites. You were all about the studies and getting good grades while Phoebe was all about the parties. She was pretty much failing all her classes but somehow wasn't kicked out at this point.
"I have a test on Monday, I'll be fine here." You argued.
Phoebe held up her hand to silence you.
"I will drag you out if I have to. Come on Y/N, you need to let loose for a change."
You knew that you couldn't argue with Phoebe. She always had a way of convincing you to do something, even if you didn't want to.
"Plus, your crush will be there."
"Phoebe-"
Your face was turning a bright color of red, which Phoebe laughed at.
Phoebe had a band with her other two best friends, Lucy and Julien. The first time you met them, something about Julien instantly connected you to her. She was funny, sweet and most of all, extremely hot. Phoebe always joked that she was a matchmaker, but you begged to differ. She was just a hopeless romantic.
"I don't even know what to wear." You said, finally standing up from your bed.
"You can borrow something." Phoebe suggested.
You nodded. "Alright fine."
Phoebe happily skipped into her room with you trailing behind her. You watched as she effortlessly pulled the first thing out of her closet, throwing it at you.
"Wear that. You'll look hot."
You looked down at the little black dress she had thrown at you. The dress looked short and tight making you feel a bit nervous.
"I don't know about this." You said.
Phoebe rolled her eyes, pushing you toward the bathroom. "Just try it."
After putting on the dress, you realized you didn't hate it as much as you thought you would. The dress reached mid-thigh and was surprisingly not as tight as you thought it would be.
When you opened the door, Phoebe stood there with wide eyes.
"Oh, you are definitely wearing that dress. Damn girl." She took your hand and spun you around, causing you to giggle.
"Alright, alright. I'll wear the dress."
Phoebe smiled and clapped, doing her little happy dance. You shook your head and laughed at her. She could be such a pain sometimes.
After putting on a bit of makeup, which consisted of only mascara and lip gloss, you were ready. You put on your docs and stared at yourself in the mirror one last time before Phoebe was practically dragging you out of the apartment. She wasn't joking.
The party was only about 5 minutes from your guy's place, and the second you were outside, you wanted to go home.
There was a game of ring toss going on in the front lawn, and pretty much everyone had a red solo cup. You stuck close to Phoebe as you guys made your way inside. The smell of weed and booze instantly hit your nose, making you almost gag. There were so many bodies that you almost felt claustrophobic.
