"Y/N!"

Your head snapped in the direction of who was calling you. Phoebe, your older sister was standing there with a wide smile in the middle of the airport. Twirling her keys around her pointer finger. It had been months since you two had seen one another. You were busy finishing college while Phoebe was busy touring for the past few months. The two of you planned to spend the summer together. You were going to stay with Phoebe. Phoebe was excited to show you around and have you meet her two best friends.

You and Phoebe both ran towards each other, engulfing each other in a long hug.

"I miss you Y/N." Phoebe said, she pulled back to look at you.

You smiled and nodded. "I missed you too Pheebs."

Phoebe led you out to her car, you hopped in the passenger seat and Phoebe got in the driver's seat. She connected her phone to the aux, of course, turning on Hardy.

"So, what's the plan this summer?" You asked as Phoebe drove.

Phoebe glanced at you for a moment before turning her attention back to the road.

"I was thinking we could sightsee a bit. But I also want to introduce you to my friends."

You nodded. Phoebe had been talking about her two friends, Lucy and Julien. You had heard some of their solo music along with their music as a band. Both of them had beautiful singing voices. But you had never met them. Phoebe spoke so highly about them that you knew you would probably love them.

Once you guys got to Phoebe's apartment complex, she parked and then you guys headed up to her place. Phoebe held one of your bags as you held the other. She unlocked the door, allowing you inside her cozy apartment. Once inside, Phoebe led you to the room you would be staying in. She set your bag on top of the dresser, the other one you set on the floor.

"Make yourself cozy alright?"

You nodded, smiling at Phoebe. As your older sister, she had always been protective of you. Always making sure you were okay. Nobody was able to mess with you as a kid because Phoebe would threaten to kick their ass if they tried anything. You were always following her around, but she didn't mind. Your mom always joked that you were Phoebe's shadow. She wasn't wrong.

"I invited Julien and Lucy over if that's alright." Phoebe said softly. She was standing in the doorway of the room, you sat on the end of the bed and nodded. You were perfectly fine with it. After all, this was Phoebe's home. It did feel nice that she wanted your opinion though.

"Sounds good." You said.

Phoebe smiled before leaving you alone in the room. You laid back on the bed feeling exhausted. 'It wouldn't hurt to take a short nap' you thought to yourself. You pulled the blanket off the end of the bed to wrap yourself in, cuddling the pillow as you dozed off.

A few hours later, you woke up to the sounds of laughter from the living room. You turned over to see it was 5 pm. Phoebe had let you sleep knowing you probably didn't sleep much before the flight. After stretching, you stood up slowly and then made your way out into the living room.

Phoebe's back was to you, but her two friends glanced up at you. Phoebe turned around and smiled when she saw it was you.

"Hey, sleepyhead." She said with a small laugh.

You laughed and moved to stand next to Phoebe, feeling a bit nervous to meet her friends. Phoebe gave you a warm smile before introducing you to them.

"Well guys, this is my sister Y/N. Y/N this is Lucy and Julien."

Lucy was the first to hug you. Her hug was gentle and sweet. She looked like an angel. Julien hugged you next, but it felt different. Her hug brought instant butterflies to your stomach. Lucy was slightly taller than you while Julien was a few inches shorter. You couldn't help but stare at Julien for a moment. She looked beautiful.

"Alright, who wants pizza?" Phoebe said clapping her hands together, bringing you back to reality.

You could feel Julien's eyes on you as you made your way into the kitchen to help Phoebe bring the pizza out to set up on the coffee table. Her gaze giving you more butterflies.

"Did you sleep alright?" Phoebe asked you as she reached into the cupboard for paper plates.

You nodded. "Yeah. Best sleep I've had in a while."

Phoebe smiled softly and nodded, handing you the plates to take back out into the living room. Once you walked back out, Julien's eyes were on you once again. You felt a bit nervous, but you set down the plates, sitting down. As you guys ate, the boys talked about their music while you zoned out. You couldn't help but stare at Julien. She looked absolutely beautiful in your eyes. Her eyes filled with passion as she spoke about what they should do for their next album.

Phoebe had let you listen to The Record months before it had come out. You listened to it over and over again. You had it on repeat for weeks. The album was filled with sadness, love, and passion, everything about it was special.

"Y/N? Are you listening?" Phoebe's voice asked.

You looked over at her and shook your head. "Sorry, just zoned out for a bit."

Out of the corner of your eye, you could see Julien smiling a little.

The rest of the time, you tried to stay a part of the conversation. You could feel butterflies when Julien glanced at you as you spoke. There was something special about her that you couldn't quite figure out.

Once it got pretty late, you and Phoebe walked Lucy and Julien out to the car they had carpooled in. Phoebe was talking to Lucy, leaving you and Julien together for a moment. You were at a loss for words of what to say.

"I like your music." You blurted out.

Julien let out a soft laugh and smiled. "You're cute. But thank you."

You felt a blush creep to your cheeks. The way Julien had called you cute brought butterflies to your stomach.

"So uh, would you want to hang out sometime with me?" Julien asked.

You tilted your head at her. A small smile on your lips. "Are you asking me on a date?"

Julien blushed and let out a nervous laugh. "Maybe. But only if you want it to be."

You smiled and nodded. "Yes, I'll go on a date with you."

A couple of days later the two of you went on a date.  Julien surprised you with a picnic dinner in the park. You guys talked for hours until it was dark. As you guys were walking back to Julien's car, it started to pour.

"Run!!" Julien yelled to you as the two of you sprinted to the car.

Despite Julien having shorter legs than you, she still managed to beat you to the car. Just as she was about to climb in, you grabbed her arm, stopping her. Julien looked at you confused.

"Could you kiss me? I've always wanted to be kissed in the rain." You admitted.

Julien let out a small laugh and smiled. "Of course."

The two of you leaned in, and instant fireworks went off the second your lips met. The kiss was sweet, yet passionate. The rain soaked the two of you, but that didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was this moment.

When you two pulled apart, you guys both let out a laugh, your forehead against hers.

"I like you Y/N."

Hearing Julien say that made your heart flutter.

"I like you too Julien."

The two of you smiled at one another, before kissing each other again. The two of you guys knew that this was definitely not the last time you would be spending time with one another.
