SMUT WARNING

Danny and I had finally bought a house together after being together for 3 years, Greta Van fleet was doing exceptionally well and they were in the midst of making songs for their next album. It was December so Christmas was quickly coming. I went into our music room where Danny was sitting playing his guitar mindlessly playing some tunes. I walked up behind him and gently rubbed his shoulders, he tilted his head back against my chest and looked up at me with a smile, "Hey Mamas whats up?" he asked. "I was wondering if we could go get a christmas tree today?" I asked with a smile. "Of course Flower that sounds like fun" He smiled at me, his eyes and nose scrunching up.

Danny knew that Christmas time was my all time favorite and we had plans to start our own traditions that we would eventually carry on with children down the road. While Danny played his guitar I sat on the couch in the music room and curled up with a book listening to him, I absolutely adored listening to him jam. He grew quiet for a second and I looked up at him, he was sitting and smiling back at me, "What?" I asked. He shook his head, "Nothing beautiful just admiring you." He said.

His words made my stomach erupt into butterflies, even after 3 years he never failed to make me feel like when we first started dating. "Don't you get tired of looking at me everyday?" I asked, my insecurities coming out. He furrowed his brow and placed his guitar down, walking over to me and standing before me. I looked up at him just as he cupped my face gently in his ginormous hand, "I don't think you quite understand just how beautiful you are and how I will never be able to stop admiring you. You are absolutely stunning and I am truly the luckiest guy in the world to have you in my life" he said softly his eyes drunken with lust.

I felt myself blushing, "God I don't know what I did right in my life to deserve such a perfect human like you" I said smiling up at him. "Baby quite the contrary, I don't know what I did to deserve you" he bent down and kissed me gently. His hair fell around his face and tickled mine gently. I sighed contently against his lips, life was truly perfect right now. We were home for our first Christmas in the first house we bought together and we were completely in love with each other. 3 years with him had gone by in the blink of an eye.

We got ready to go get a tree, it was a cold day in Michigan so we had to bundle up to go pick out a tree at the christmas tree farm. One of my favorite things for Danny to wear was sweaters, he picked out a brown sweater with red and green accents before putting it on followed by a pair of jeans and his snow boots. I also put on a thick sweater and jeans and also my own snow boots. We went to the front door to pull on our jackets, Danny had a thick down jacket with a hood rimmed in faux fur, he grabbed a beanie and threw it on over his head pressing down his curls.

He grabbed my jacket and held it so I could get into it, he was always such a gentleman. I zipped it up and he put my hat on me, "Its snowing make sure you bundle properly don't want you catching anything." he said also grabbing my gloves from behind him and handing them to me.

We walked out the front door and walked to the car, thick chunky snowflakes were falling rapidly around us sticking to everything creating a picturesque December day. Danny hurried to open my car door for me, "Ladies first" he winked at me. I climbed in and he shut the door behind me, he had already come outside to warm up the car. The heated seats were already on and the car was a comfortable temperature. He got into the drivers seat and we both put on our seatbelts.

As we drove down the road he gently laced his fingers into mine and rubbed his thumb over my skin gently, "So tell me beautiful, what other things would you like to do to start christmas traditions in our house?" he asked as he turned on christmas music softly. "Well... I'd love to go look at decorated houses, maybe do gingerbread houses, obviously decorate our tree, and bake" I admitted. "Sounds doable and I'd love to do every single one of those things with you and maybe more" he said.
