The weeks leading up to my due date were less than pleasurable, nearly 9 months pregnant in the dead of summer was not exactly what I would qualify as fun. Activities were limited and if the guys wanted to hang out they would come to us so I wouldn't have to travel much.

The guys were here and I was curled up at Danny's side. The AC was on full blast in the house to keep me relatively cool. Danny and the guys were talking about music stuff and I wasn't really paying any attention just mindlessly scrolling on my phone looking at baby things. I felt the baby flipping around and suddenly felt a quick jab to the bladder that was hard enough to make me wince.

They paused their conversation and Danny looked down at me, "everything ok flower?" He asked as he saw me rubbing my stomach. I felt another jab of her foot but this time straight to my ribs making me wince louder than the first time. "Someone is practicing gymnastics and just roundhouse kicked me in the bladder followed by a kick to the ribs" I whined.

Danny wasn't shy about tending to me when the guys were present, he leaned down and placed a hand on my stomach. "Hey you gotta settle down in there you're hurting your Mama, you must be getting pretty cramped in there huh? Just a few more weeks and you'll be here princess just take it easy on your mommy" he said. Whenever Danny talked to her she would calm down significantly and give me some much needed relief. He gently rubbed my stomach and I rested my head on his shoulder.

"So y/n you guys ready to meet her?" Jake asked. I nodded, "So ready, the nursery is ready, we've put away all the gifts from the baby shower. The last thing we've got to do is my maternity photos which are tomorrow, then it's just a waiting game until she decides to make her grand entry." I said. Danny was still attentively rubbing my stomach, "I really cannot believe it's been almost 9 months already, our worlds are about to change forever" he said with a smile.

"You guys deserve this, you waited so long to get pregnant. We know how much it hurt you guys those two years, but I'm glad you never gave up." Josh said. I got teary eyed, almost everything was making me emotional nowadays. Josh looked alarmed "did I say something wrong?" He asked clearly panicked if he had offended me in some way. Danny shook his head with a laugh, "no man you're good, she's just hormonal. I promise you are ok." I sniffled and wiped my eyes, "sorry just what you said was so sweet and it's so true we've been wanting this for so long and I just can't believe it's actually happening finally!" I said starting to cry harder.

Danny chuckled and wrapped his arm around me pulling me into him, "it's ok baby" he said soothingly.

The guys had been great during my pregnancy, Danny was still working on helping create music and doing some stuff with other artist and when he would have to go out for a day for another artist theyd come over and keep me company. Sam was very much like Danny, he wouldn't let me do much of anything either and having 3 guys at the house instead of one all of whom cared about you was definitely interesting.

Danny was doing as much work as he could now because once the baby got here he was taking a hiatus to spend time as a family.

The worst part of the experience lately have been the braxton hicks contractions, they would come out of nowhere and they were incredibly painful. They made me quite worried about what labor was actually going to be like.

As we were sitting and talking a Braxton hicks contraction hit. I shifted in the seat and whined grabbing onto Danny's leg, he looked at the guys "mind giving us a few minutes? She's having Braxton hicks contractions." He said. They knew they were difficult for me so they had no problem stepping out, "no problem" Sammy said as they all got up and went outback.

The only thing that semi helped when I was having one was a back massage on my lower back. He gave me a pillow to hug and then lifted the back of my shirt and gently massaged me. These Braxton hicks contractions would hit for about 15-20 minutes then die out, some much more intense than others and my stomach would turn rock hard and tense up with each one. I was whimpering quietly into the pillow as the first one died out.
