Chapter 6

*RACHELS POV*

"Holy shiz." I say, waking up. I notice Cameron was on his phone.

I'm in his house. Wow. Okay. Evelyn and Xavier came down stairs.

"Mommy, you're here!" Evelyn says, cheering.

"She's been here..." Cameron says, muttering while smiling.

I give him a glare.

"Yes I am sweetie. Did you have fun?"

"We had so much fun!!" Xavier says.

"Good. I'm glad." I say. "Ev, go get your stuff we need to head home to go say bye to Ally and Nash today."

Evelyn nods as Xavier follows her.

"That apartment isn't really your home." Cameron says, shake his head.

"Excuse me?" I say.

"That isn't your home." He says.

"Then what is my home?" I say, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Home is you in my arms." He says, smirking.

I roll my eyes as I cross my arms. He can't be for real right now.

"So are you going to say bye Nash?" I ask.

"Duh." He says.

"Well okay then.." I say.

"Rachel, what are we!?" He blurts out.

Xavier and Evelyn walk out.

"Let me answer that a year from now." I say back to him and shutting the door.

Evelyn and I get in the car.

"Mommy, did you have a sleep over?" Evie asks.

"Something like that." I say back.

"Do you love Cameron, mommy?"

"Y-Yes. Very much. How did you know?" I ask.

"Because I see the way you look at him." She states.

"Do you like Cameron?" I ask.

"Yes. I wish he was my father!" Evie says, chuckling.

This was it. We were at the airport. I was saying goodbye to my friend since pre-k. We arrived at the gate they were at. I already saw Xavier and Cameron. Evie goes to Xavier. While Cameron and I go to the 4 kids, Ally, and Nash. I fist bump all 4 of Ally's children, while they go to Xavier and Evie.

Then, I hug Ally while Cameron and Nash go into a 'bro hug'.

"Ray, it's for the best. And you know that." Ally says, breaking the hug.

I nod. "I know. I know. I just don't want you to leave." I say, crying.

She pulls me into another hug.

"All good things must come to an end." Ally says, whispering. I nod.

"You need to get back with Cameron, Rachel. I know he hurt you. I know. But I know you love him. Nothing will change that. Life is full of mistakes. Learn from them and move on." Ally says, whispering.

I nod, slowly. I really did miss him. I love him so much, it hurts. When his hands were around my waist last night, that was the best sleep I have ever gotten in a long time. Maybe Ally was right.. Forgive and forget.

"I don't know what to say.. Just thank you for everything." I say, crying.

"Don't say anything. Just live the moment now. We will visit soon." Ally says.
