Chapter 12

*RACHELS POV*

Phone Call between Rachel and Sydney S=Sydney / R=Rachel

S: "How you've been doing?"

R: "I've been good. It's hard sometimes but I finally think I'm over him."

S: "I just want what makes you happy, you know? I hate to see my best friend sad."

R: "Yeah, I get it. I guess it just wasn't suppose to work out. I'll get over him eventually. It's just hard."

S: "I understand.. How's Evelyn holding up?"

R: "She misses Xavier so much.. But she also misses Cameron. She considered him as a father."

S: "Oh wow."

R: "Yeah, I'm getting her in softball."

S: "That'd should be fun."

R: "You bet. Hey, I got to go. Talk to you later."

S: "Byeee!"

Let me sum it up for you. Cameron found another girl. Her name is Andrea? All I know is she is super gorgeous and I can't compete with that. I heard they are getting very 'serious'. Whatever that means.

I wanna say I'm over him, but how can I be so sure? He made me feel loved then he just left. He hasn't contacted me or anything. I sometimes wonder how he is holding up since Xavier passed..

Ally and Nash visited last month actually. We didn't really talk much because they were always with Cameron or having double dates.

I just can't come to the fact, why did he leave? What did I ever do wrong? Was he just tired of me so he threw me out? I don't know. I guess he moved on and now it's time for me to.

You would think I would cry because Cameron left, right? You were wrong. I've cried one to many times over that boy, I don't even think I have enough tears in me. It is what it is. Obviously he moved on.

I see pictures of them on Twitter. I'm not gonna lie, Cameron looks happy. I guess that's something I couldn't do... I haven't been sleeping properly like I should be doing. So I'm stopping by the store and picking up sleeping pills.

Right now I'm dropping Evie at softball. This will be the last time I will be seeing her in awhile, she's going to her Aunt's house for a couple of months. She's gonna go and spend the summer with her. Her choice, not mine.

"Have fun!" I say.

"Ok, mommy! Love you!"

"Love you too, sweetheart. I love you and enjoy Aunt Meg's."

"I love you too and okay!" Evie says."

I drive away, heading to the grocery store.

I park my car and walk into the grocery store. I make my way over to the medicine and look for sleeping pills. All the sudden, my phone rings. My heart aches, thinking it was Cameron, but I was wrong. It's just Taylor.

T: "Hey!!"

R: "Hey. Taylor why are you calling me? Is everything okay? Is Sydney alright!?"

T: "Yeah, everything is fine. I just have exciting news!!"

R: "Ok? What is it?"

T: "MAGCON IS BACK!"
