*RACHELS POV*
••• 2 months later •••
Jill still hasn't woken up and they are going to unplug the cord tomorrow if she doesn't wake up. To be honest, I'm scared. So much has happened. Cameron found my sleeping pills. I've been using them every night. He took them.
- flashback -
"Cameron! Give me them back!" I say.
"No, these are so bad for you. I don't want you to get hurt." He says.
"Worry about your girlfriend instead." I say, muttering. "It's not like you care."
"What was that? You think I don't care?" He asks.
I shift my way the other way, where my back was facing him.
"I care about you, Rachel." He says.
"Yeah right." I say.
"These pills are so bad for you." He says.
"That's why I take them." I say.
"What if something bad happens to you??" He asks.
"Then it happens. I don't care anymore." I say.
"You don't mean that." He says.
"I do. Now give me back those pills!" I say.
"No. You aren't getting them." He says.
I watch as he flushes the sleeping pills down the toilet. I sob as my knees hit the tile floor.
You think I can just go to the grocery store and get new ones. Nope. Since Cameron found out, people are gonna be watching me now.
Cameron wraps his arms around me while I shake.
"I need those pills." I say.
"No, you want them. You don't need them." He says.
And he was absolutely right.
- end of flashback -
Evelyn came down to Las Vegas because that is where we have been staying. Everybody went home or had to go home. So in Las Vegas was me, Evie, Cameron, Nash, and Hayes.
We booked a hotel and Nash and Hayes shared a room although, Hayes spent most of the time at the hospital and then Cameron, Evie, and I shared one.
Nothing has happened, he is still dating Andrea. Right now, it was midnight and Evie started crying thinking about Xavier.
"Shhh, he's in a better place now." I say.
Evelyn was ignoring Cameron completely. After Cameron made that big scene in the hospital saying he doesn't need any of us, she's been zoning him out.
"Mommy, why did he have to go?" Evelyn asks, sniffling.
"I don't know, sweetie." I say.
Cameron sat at the end of the bed, getting teared eyed.
"Princess, can I talk to you?" Cameron asks to Evie.
"I don't wanna talk to you." Ev says.
"Please, princess." He asks.
I look at Evie, telling her to go over to him. She nods as she approaches Cameron. I watch in the corner.
"You know I didn't mean any of that. I was just really mad at the moment, so I had to take all the anger out. I'm sorry, I hurt you and your mommy. I love you and your mommy very much." Cameron says.
