*RACHELS POV*
"Evie, are you ready?" I ask her.
We were currently in our home and Cameron and Xavier were coming to take us out to eat. Then, Xavier would spend the night.
"Yes, mommy." She adds back.
I nod.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." Evie says, smiling.
After we got home from the airport, I put Evelyn to sleep while I cried. I cried that my best friend moved away. Thank god, I still have Jill and Sydney.
Also today, I quit my singing job at the café.
ding
"I got it!" Ev says.
"Make sure to look who it is first." I say.
Evie nods as she looks. Then she opens the door. There appeared Xavier and Cameron.
"Cameron! Xavier!" Evelyn says.
I laugh.
I grab my purse and shut the door behind me as Xavier and Evelyn run to the car. Leaving Cameron and I behind.
"You look beautiful." Cameron says.
"Thank you." I say, blushing.
"How are you holding up?" He asks.
I sigh. "It's gonna be hard. But I'm just gonna have to stay strong. What about you? How are you doing?" I ask.
"I'm doing alright. It's gonna be hard not seeing my brother everyday. But this is a better opportunity for them and we just have to accept it." He says.
I nod as we both enter the car.
"Where are we going?" Xavier asks.
"Chili's." Cameron replies back.
I give him a smile and he smiles back.
We enter the restaurant and we have to sit down and wait for our table.
Surprisingly, there was a mini arcade in the restaurant. So we gave Xavier and Evelyn money as they ran off to the games.
Cameron and I sit down. He grabs my hand and interlocks it with his. I flinch at first but then I let it be. I missed this so much.
We hear laughing and we turn to see a couple. The age about 15, laughing and smiling wide. Cameron squeezes my hand. As if he notices the couple also.
"Remember when we were like that?" I ask him.
"How could I forget?" He replies back.
I smile.
"Rachel, are we okay now?" He asks.
I don't answer. I just kiss him lightly on the lips and lightly pull back.
"Does that answer your question?" I say, smiling.
He smiles and nods.

We soon get our table and we sit down going through the menu.
We were sitting in a booth and it was Cameron and I in one side and Xavier and Evelyn in the other.
"What are you getting?" I ask Cameron.
"Chicken Enchiladas." He says.
"Well then I'm gonna get Chicken Quesadillas." I say, smirking.
"What are ya'll getting?" Cameron asks the kids.
