*JILLS POV*

"Talia!! You gotta eat!" I say, frustrated. Forget it. She was one year old and she wouldn't eat her food.

Hayes walks in.

"Hey, babe." He says.

"Hey."

He comes over and kisses my cheek.

"Where's Carter?" Hayes asks.

"Grandmas. Talia won't eat her mashed peas." I say.

"If I were her, I wouldn't either." Hayes says, muttering.

I slap his arm. He lets out a chuckle.

"She's your daughter, you feed her. I have to go to Rachel's."

He nods, while I head out the door. Before I go, I give him a kiss. He lets out a smirk while I let out a laugh.

I get in the car and drive to Rachel's house. It's pouring rain and it's almost hard to see. But, I make it safely and I find myself running to the door and knocking.

Rachel opens and let's out a small smile. That's weird. She usually smiles big..

"Hey!" I say.

"Hi." She says. "Would you like anything to drink?"

"Umm, no I'm good. Thanks." I say.

She she nods as we sit down by the window, letting the rain drops hit the window.

"Did you hear the news?" I ask.

"Yeah. I can't believing she is throwing away California and moving away.." She says, sighing.

"She says there's nothing for her kids here in Cali." I say.

"Wow." Rachel says, rolling her eyes.

"Why North Carolina?" Rachel asks.

"Maybe Nash's family? I don't know, I just know Ally and Nash are out of there house soon." I say, shrugging.

"Yeah.. Can we change the subject, please?" Rachel says.

I nod. Rachel puts her face in her hands. We stare at the window, watching the rain pour down, hard.

Neither one of us talked for about 5 minutes. It was complete silence.

"I think I did love him" she whispered, under her falling tears. "It's been years and I think of him everyday. Sometimes I'm enraged at him for what he did and sometimes I'm thankful that he at least came into my life and gave me hope again." She looked out the window and stared at the rain that fell in synch with her tears. "It was the best think I ever felt. I think that was love."

I engulf her in a hug, as she soon stops the crying.

"It's gonna be okay, Rachel." I say.

She rolls her eyes.

"Everything is just dandy right now. Isn't it? The sun will still come out and the rainbows will still shine. Yes, everything is okay!" Rachel says, sarcastically.

"I'm not gonna be here if you are gonna talk to me like that! I'm trying, Rachel. I'm trying to help but you just keep pushing me away!" I say.

I'm starting to walk out the door but Rachel stops me.

"I'm sorry, Jill."

"It's fine." I say.

I shut the door.

"Look, I just love him. Okay? I just don't wanna get hurt again.." She says.

I engulf her in a hug.
