"Why am I here?" Tay asked Hayley with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Hayley had called her, telling her that there was an emergency and that she needed to get to her house immediately. Of course, Tay wasted no time and made her way to her house only to find out that everything was alright. So now, the two were sat in Hayley's kitchen and Tay was waiting for an explanation.

Hayley smiled. "Well," she began, her smile growing bigger by the moment. "I have this friend who's single..."

Taylor groaned, she knew where this was going. For the past month, Lynn and Hayley have been trying to set her up with their friends and family members. Even her sisters got in on it. They'd make her go on blind dates, take her out to the bar, and once even made her go speed dating just so they could help her find the "perfect girl". Tay thought it was ridiculous, but they thought otherwise.

"Hayles," she sighed. "I'm not going on another blind date. I'm pretty sure I know all the girls in your contact list by now."

"Trust me, we're not even halfway through my contact list." Tay rolled her eyes. "But seriously, I think you'd really like this girl. She's smart, funny, and pretty. Actually, pretty is an understatement, she's gorgeous. She loves music and she's from Australia. You'd love her!"

"Okay, I'm leaving now." She stood up and grabbed her leather jacket from the back of the chair, but before she could make it out of the kitchen, Hayley stopped her.

She grabbed her arm. "Please, just hear me out," She begged. "She's a really sweet girl and I really, really, really think you two would hit it off."

Tay raised an eyebrow. "And if we don't?"

"If you don't, then I won't make you go on a blind date ever again."

"Ever?"

"Ever."

"Deal." Tay sat back down and Hayley smiled, knowing she had won this one. "So, what's her name?"

"Her name's Jenna. She just moved here a few of weeks ago, so she doesn't know many people."

She nodded. "Okay, and when is this date?"

"Next Saturday."

"Where?"

"That's for you to decide."

Hayley winked and Tay glared at her. For a second, she truly believed she was crazy. "What do you mean 'That's for you to decide'?" She didn't know anything about this girl, so she had no clue where to take her.

Hayley rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Tay. You've lived here your whole life, you know all the cool places, so you should know where to take a girl on a date."

Tay knew she had a point. She knew Poughkeepsie like the back of her hand, and plus, she had taken many girls out on dates. It wouldn't be hard to find a decent place to take this girl.

"Alright..." she agreed. "I'll take this Jenna chick out on a date. Happy?"

A smile broke out on Hayley's face, probably the biggest one Tay had ever seen on her. And the next thing she knew, Hayley was up on her feet doing a happy dance. She chuckled at the sight. "You're ridiculous," she told her, and Hayley laughed.

"You're gonna thank me for this."

Tay repeated the number to herself as she drove down Almond street. Hayley texted her Jenna's address a couple of hours before and she realized that she didn't live too far from her. Fifteen minutes at most.
