Saw this prompt on the otpprompts account on tumblr and yeah :)
Tay sat in the kitchen, enjoying and savoring the taste of the rich chocolate cake sitting on the plate in front of her. She finished the slice, realizing one just wasn't enough. She needed another piece. She tiptoed her way to the fridge, hoping not to wake Jenna who was sleeping upstairs. If Jenna caught Tay eating slices of cake at seven in the morning, she would most definitely not be pleased.
She cut herself another piece and walked back to the counter, sitting back down and digging her fork into the slice of chocolate heaven.
"This is way better than sex," she spoke aloud.
"Oh, really?"
She dropped her fork, the voice startling her. She turned around and spotted Jenna standing at the kitchen entrance, a look of disappointment on her face.
"Oh, Jen, you scared the shit out of me."
"Are you seriously eating cake at this time in the morning?" Jenna said, walking over to the brunette.
"Uh..."
"It's seven in the morning. Drink a smoothie or eat some fruit, that'd be much healthier."
Tay pouted. "But I don't want healthy, I want chocolate cake."
"You can have cake after dinner, but now, it's too early," she said, picking up her plate and carrying it over to the trash. She lifted the lid of the trash can and when Tay realized what she was doing, she hopped out of her seat and rushed over to Jenna, snatching the plate out of her hands.
"I love you, but there is no way in hell I'm letting you throw away a perfect piece of cake," Tay told her, an annoyed sigh escaping Jenna's lips when she did.
She reached for the plate again and Tay took a step back.
"Give me the plate."
The brunette shook her head and held the plate closer. "No," she said stubbornly.
Jenna sighed again. "Taylor."
"Jenna," she tried.
"Taylor, I'm serious. You shouldn't be eating sweets this early in the morning. It's not healthy, and you won't get the necessary nutrients you need to start off the-"
"You know, I think the only reason you're so against me eating cake is because it's been a while since you've had some."
Jenna furrowed her eyebrows. "What are you talking about? I had a slice of that same cake last ni-"
Tay cut her off, shoving a piece in the taller girls face. "Take a bite."
Jenna shook her head but before she could verbally object, Tay shoved a forkful in her mouth. Her eyes widened and Tay smiled before telling her to chew. Although she was tempted to spit it out into the trash, Jenna reluctantly chewed then swallowed, glaring at Tay afterwards.
"See, it wasn't so bad, was it?" she asked, smiling cutely at her.
"It's good, but it's not good for you to eat in the morning."
"Oh, come on, it's not like I'm eating candy," Tay said before taking another bite herself. "Eating candy at seven in the morning is unhealthy. Cake, not so much."
Jenna rolled her eyes. "Yeah, whatever," she mumbled, walking to the fridge. "You're gonna regret it later."
Tay chuckled, taking one last bite before getting up and placing the plate in the sink. "Am I, am I really?"
"Yes, and don't come crying to me when you do."

It was now the afternoon and Tay had the worst stomachache. Jenna's words echoed in her head as she plopped down on the couch in the living room. She knew she should've listened to her when she told her not to eat the cake, but it was so damn good, she couldn't resist.
"Feeling like crap yet?" Jenna asked, sitting down beside her. There was a hint of playfulness in her tone, but Tay knew it was a serious question.
She had two options:
She could either deny the aches and pain in the pit of her stomach, or she could tell Jenna that she was right and that she should've listened to her.
The first option sounds good to me, she thought to herself before faking a smile and shaking her head. "I feel amazing, actually," she lied. It was a pretty convincing lie too, and Jenna seemed to buy it, that was until a loud, monstrous growl erupted from her stomach.
Jenna burst into laughter when the sound hit her ears and Tay felt her face grow warm. Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink and her hands immediately went to her stomach, clutching it and regretting ever taking a bite of that chocolaty goodness.
Although it took her a while to stop laughing, Jenna eventually calmed down. She wasn't laughing at Tay, she was laughing at the fact that Tay tried to hide her pain because she didn't have the balls to admit that she was wrong.
When Jenna finally got herself together and she ceased her laughter, she sent the brunette a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry," she apologized. "Do you want me to get you anything for your stomach?" she asked her, gently placing her hand on Tay's leg.
Tay shook her head, too embarrassed to ask for anything. "No, I'll be fine."
"You sure?"
She nodded. "Yeah, I think..."
Jenna immediately detected uneasiness in her tone and that's when the guilt hit her. She felt bad for laughing at her. "Aw, babe, come here," she said before slipping an arm around her and allowing her to lie in her arms. "I'm sorry," she repeated.
"It's fine. I should've listened to you," Tay finally admitted, noticing the huge smile on Jenna's face. Tay sighed. "Go on and say it."
"What are you talking about?"
"Go ahead and say you told me so."
"Tay-"
"Nope. Just do it. I know you want to."
"Well, if you insist," Jenna said, trying her hardest to hide her excitement. It wasn't very often Tay owned up to being wrong. "I told you so."
As if on cue, Tay's stomach growled again, causing her to bury her head in Jenna's chest in groan. "I'm never eating chocolate cake again."
Jenna brought her hand up to her back and began to rub it in an attempt to comfort her. "I guess this would be the perfect time to tell you I threw the rest of it out after you left the kitchen this morning," she said quietly.
Tay chuckled, lifting her head from her chest and looking up at her. "Of course you did. But that's okay, I don't need cake anyway," she said, sitting up.
Jenna smirked. "Is that so?"
Tay nodded before bringing her hand up to the side of her face. "Mhm."
She caressed her soft skin then tucked a few loose strands of her dark green hair behind her ear, smiling at how beautiful she was. She then leaned in, close enough so that their lips were almost touching but not quite, and whispered, "Your lips are way sweeter."
