Look at that precious angel.

It was late, almost eleven, and Jenna McDougall was getting ready for bed. She changed out of her regular clothes and into something more loose and comfortable before sliding under the covers.
She let out a sigh of relief. It had been a long day full of test taking, and she was happy that she could finally get some sleep. Finals week was always stressful, but now it was the end of the week, and testing was finally over. No more late night studying, no more stress, and no more sleepless nights.
She felt at peace.

Unlike Jenna McDougall, sleep was the last thing on Tay Jardine's mind. She was lying in bed, fully awake, staring up at her ceiling as thoughts of Jenna filled her head. She thought about her laugh, her smile, and the way her eyes lit up when they talked about music. She loved everything about her, and she was dying to see her at the moment.
Finals week was hectic, and because of that, she barely got to spend time with her beautiful girlfriend. It had been days since they last saw each other, and to Tay, those days felt likes weeks. She needed to see her, and she decided that she would.

It was eleven thirty when Jenna got a text from Tay, waking her up from her sleep.
'I'm coming over,' it read.
She groaned before replying.
'It's late.'
'Yeah, but I want to see you.'
A smile spread across Jenna's face when she read Tay's message.
'Okay, fine. See you in a few :)'

Tay got dressed and quickly climbed out her bedroom window. Her mother would kill her if she found out she snuck out, which is why she had to be super quiet. She got caught sneaking out of the house a couple of months ago and she was grounded for three weeks. Three weeks without internet, texting, or television... It was torture. Of course there was a possibility she could get caught again, but at the moment, she didn't care, she just wanted to see Jenna.
Tay got to Jenna's house in less than five minutes. They didn't live far from each other, so the walk there wasn't so bad. The only downside to walking to her house was the weather. It was a bit chilly outside, but it wasn't anything she couldn't handle.
"Alright," she said to herself as she approached the side of the McDougall's house. She looked up and her eyes landed on the window she was sure was Jenna's. "All I have to do is text Jenna and tell her to open her bedroom window then I can climb up. Simple."
It was an easy plan, and she had done it before. But this time, there was a problem.
She reached into her back pocket to pull out her phone only to realize that her phone wasn't there. "Fuck," she cursed as she frantically checked her other pockets, finding nothing.
"Oh god," she mumbled in disbelief before sitting down on the cold ground. She sighed and began thinking of ways to get Jenna's attention while running her fingers through the grass. Her eyes wandered her surroundings before landing on the driveway where she spotted a ton of small rocks.
