SUNOO'S POV

“Jungwon? What happened? Why are you crying?” I asked quickly, concern lacing my voice as I moved toward him.

Jungwon's steps quickened until he was right in front of me wrapping his arms around me in a tight hug. He buried his face into my shoulder, his breaths coming out in soft hiccups as he sniffled against my shirt.

“We… We’re s-sorry, Sunoo.” he stammered between his hiccups. “Sorry you had to go through Heeseung hyung's anger… I-I was s-so worried…”

His voice broke and I could feel his body trembling as he spoke. I felt a pang in my chest, guilt washing over me. I hadn’t realized how much my situation with Heeseung had affected the others—especially Jungwon. I wrapped my arms around him, hugging him tightly in return, trying to soothe him.

“Hey, hey, it's okay,” I whispered, rubbing small circles on his back as he clung to me. “Shh, Jungwon, don’t cry.”

We stayed like that for a moment, just the two of us in the small living room of our apartment, his quiet sobs filling the space. Slowly, he began to calm down, his breathing evening out as I continued to comfort him.

After a while, I pulled back slightly, just enough to look at his face. His eyes were red and puffy from crying and his lips quivered as he tried to regain his composure.

“Stop crying, okay?” I said softly using my thumb to gently wipe away a stray tear from his cheek. “It’s alright now. I’m okay.”

Jungwon sniffed again but nodded, his voice shaky as he spoke. “I just, I was so worried. He didn’t… He didn’t hurt you, did he? He didn’t do anything without your permission right?”

There was a genuine fear in his eyes, and it made my heart twist. I could see how much he was struggling with this—how much all of them were. I smiled softly trying to reassure him.

“No, Jungwon-ah,” I said gently. “He didn’t hurt me. He didn’t do anything I didn’t want him to do. I promise. You don’t have to worry.”

A wave of relief washed over his face and he let out a deep breath as if he had been holding it in for hours. “That’s… That’s a relief. We were all worried. Especially Sunghoon hyung. He couldn’t sleep all night.”

Sunghoon hyung? I hadn’t even thought about him. A pang of guilt hit me again. I must have worried them all so much. “I’ll talk to Sunghoon hyung later.” I murmured to myself, already thinking of how to apologize.

Jungwon, however, had a keen eye and before I could cover them up, he noticed the marks on my neck—the hickeys that Heeseung hyung had left behind. His eyes widened in surprise but there was no judgment in them. Instead, there was a soft understanding.

“Did… Did something more happen between you and Heeseung hyung?” he asked carefully, his tone gentle.

I hesitated for a moment, feeling a flush creep up my cheeks. This wasn’t exactly a conversation I was prepared to have but Jungwon and I were close—close enough to share everything.

So, I nodded, my voice barely above a whisper. “Yeah, We, um… We did everything that maybe we weren’t supposed to do so soon.”

Jungwon didn’t say anything at first, just nodded as if he already knew. It was like they all knew something about Heeseung hyung that I didn’t—and they were keeping it from me. That thought made me uneasy, but I pushed it aside for now. I would deal with that later.

“Last night… After everything,” Jungwon continued softly, “we all went back to Sunghoon hyung, Jake hyung, and Niki’s apartment. We stayed together all night. That’s why I wasn’t here. We just wanted to be together, you know? We were all worried. I only came back when Jay hyung called me, saying Heeseung hyung had returned to the apartment.”
