Heeseung spotted Sunoo and Sunghoon sharing that single piece of cake, feeling his blood boil upon seeing that Sunghoon had taken a bite and then so effortlessly, Sunoo had taken a bite from the same slice.

To Heeseung, it was an indirect kiss-intimate, possessive, and everything that should have belonged to him. His vision blurred with rage, his chest tightening as he recalled his earlier warning to Sunoo:

This was the last thread of his patience. One more mistake, and even Heeseung didn't know what he might do.

And now it had happened.

The image of Sunoo smiling so innocently at Sunghoon shattered every ounce of control he had. Heeseung stood there rooted for a moment feeling his calmness break into jagged shards.

The good boy act he had been trying keep up all day in front of Sunoo crumbled away like the last pieces of a crumbling facade.

Without another second's hesitation, Heeseung stormed toward them, his long strides carrying him quickly across the place. His hand reached out and before Sunoo could react, Heeseung's fingers gripped his arm harshly, spinning him around with such force that Sunoo gasped.

Their eyes met briefly but the instant Sunoo saw the fire blazing behind Heeseung's dark eyes, he averted his gaze, lowering his head, cause he knew, he knew what just happened and how Heeseung saw it, he looked away purposely, thinking this could somehow shield him from older's rage.

Heeseung's grip on his arm was tight-almost bruising-and Sunoo's small hands instinctively flew up to clutch at Heeseung's wrist, but he didn't try to pull away. He knew better.

He could feel the tension in Heeseung's body, the way his breath was ragged from holding back the torrent of anger threatening to spill over. Sunoo swallowed thickly wanting to say something, anything, but his throat had closed up in fear. Words failed him.

He just stood there, his body trembling beneath Heeseung's iron grip and though he wanted to protest, wanted to apologize, the words lodged themselves in his throat.

"Jay, give me your car key." Heeseung ordered growling against smaller's face. He didn't even spare Jay a glance, his entire focus fixated on Sunoo as if daring him to make a sound, to even breathe out of line.

Jay hesitated for a fraction of a second, clearly shocked at the sudden shift in Heeseung's demeanor.

He knew, Heeseung wasn't always the calm and composed one but he was almost the leader among them, not almost but he is, the leader, the protector.

And this... this wasn't something new it they think about it. Even Sunghoon, who had always been playful and bold, stood frozen in place, his usual confidence was nowhere to be found when he saw that rage in Heeseung.

"Hyung, I'm sorry." Sunghoon suddenly blurted out, genuinely regretting his actions. "I thought it was Jake. It's my fault, not his. Please, hyung, let him go." Sunghoon pleaded, his eyes wide with guilt as he tried to shoulder the blame desperately, to protect Sunoo.

Heeseung's gaze flickered to Sunghoon briefly, his eyes narrowing dangerously. The glare was enough to silence Sunghoon instantly.

Heeseung didn't need words to convey his message-Sunghoon had crossed a line and he would deal with him later. But for now his focus was solely on Sunoo.
