The soft hum of mall music filled the air as Sunoo and Jungwon strolled through the men's section, scanning the racks of neatly folded clothes and hanging shirts. Sunoo had promised to help Jungwon prepare for his date and today he was on a mission.

His sharp eyes glided over each rack, swiftly picking out what he believed would make Jungwon look his best.

"Jungwon, look at this!" Sunoo exclaimed pulling out a sky-blue t-shirt with an airy grace. He held it up against Jungwon's chest, squinting as if analyzing every possible angle before smiling in satisfaction.

"This is it. I’m telling you, this with white pants? You’ll look like an absolute angel." His eyes gleamed with excitement as he turned the shirt toward the mirror, envisioning how the soft blue would accentuate Jungwon’s complexion.

Jungwon scratched the back of his head looking at the shirt with a slightly hesitant expression. "Are you sure I’ll look good in this?" he asked with a hint of doubt despite Sunoo’s enthusiasm. He still wasn’t quite convinced.

Sunoo’s playful scoff filled the air as he turned to face Jungwon raising an eyebrow with mock offense. "Excuse me?" he placed a hand on his hip, turning full sass. "Are you doubting Kim Sunoo’s fashion sense? The audacity!"

Jungwon immediately raised his hands in surrender, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "No, no! I’d never doubt you, Sunoo-ssi." he laughed feeling a little more at ease under Sunoo’s playful glare.

Sunoo beamed in satisfaction but before checking out he scanned the store thinking they could find something even better. “Hmm, let’s just check out a few more things. You never know—there might be a hidden gem somewhere.”

As they meandered through the aisles, Jungwon began piling shirts into Sunoo’s arms, eager to find something that caught his eye. But Sunoo, ever the perfectionist remained unimpressed by every single option Jungwon presented.

A checkered shirt, a graphic tee, even a crisp white button-up—nothing stood out to him. His focus always went back to that simple yet ethereal sky-blue shirt.

Jungwon’s arms were full of rejected options when he finally sighed, “Okay, okay, you win. Let’s just go with the sky blue one.” His tone was half-exasperated but he knew Sunoo had good taste. He was too indecisive to argue.

Before they could head to the checkout counter, Sunoo’s eyes lit up with a new idea. Without a word, he grabbed Jungwon’s wrist and pulled him toward another section of the store.

“Wait, one more thing!” Sunoo’s grin widened as he pulled a sleek black turtleneck from the rack. The material was soft and fitted perfect for layering.

Jungwon blinked in confusion. “Why do we need this one?” he asked, tilting his head slightly wondering what Sunoo was up to now.

Sunoo smirked, his mischievous nature fully on display. “Oh, you never know.” he teased twirling the hanger in his hand. “You might end up needing this later you know, to hide the marks after tonight.” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively walking ahead of Jungwon while holding the turtleneck up as if it were a trophy.

Jungwon's face flushed a deep red at Sunoo's teasing words, his eyes widening as his mind processed what Sunoo was implying. “W-we’re not that desperate!” he stammered, his voice cracking in embarrassment. He shot Sunoo a mortified look but then quickly fired back,

“Unlike someone who got... who got fucked on their own birthday and bragged about it!”

Sunoo’s eyes widened dramatically, his mouth dropping open as he gasped clutching his chest like Jungwon’s words had struck him. “Excuse me?!” His shock quickly turned into amusement as he clicked his tongue. “You little brat—” he began stepping closer to Jungwon, clearly not backing down.
