"Good morning sir." I said as I arose from my chair firmly. He walked up to my desk without uttering a single word closing the door behind him. A half a smile appeared on his fragile looking face to hide his immodesty pride away. He sat down on the chair professionally staring down beneath my notes. I sat down as the moment of silence surrounded us. I looked over my shoulder and spot Rebecca pulling her feet inside in hope of not being seen. Her big brown eyes touched mine and she smiled warmly showing her white bright teeth. She touches her heart dramatically pointing her fingers at Mr. Malak and me and then forming a heart sign. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Mr. Malak before he notices her presences in the room.

"So I'm guessing you've heard?" I paused for a moment trying to comprehend what he just questioned me. "I'm sorry? Can you please repeat that?" "The Freedman case." "Oh yeah." "Do you think that you could do the interview by today?" "Well I don't know about today, but tomorrow is an absolute sure." "Why not?"  "Because there are still some certain aspects that need to be covered up before the interview." "Like?" "Like calling him and making sure everything is in place after all this is going to be on air." He picks up the notes and starts waving them at me. "Well if you ask me, this looks fresh and ready." "Put it's not in place sir. Trust me, I'll make sure that everything is in place and perfect for tomorrow. I just need time." "Alright. If you say so." "Thank you sir." "Where's my coat?" "Your coat?" His coat? Oh no, I completely forgot to bring it back.

"I'm sorry sir, but I forgot it at home. I'll make sure to bring it in tomorrow." "It's fine. I almost forgot to tell you, go to Karmal's office and ask him for your schedule." "Okay sir." He stands up and walks away without responding with neither a gentle smile nor a goodbye. Why should I care though? We all know how he is. Rebecca get's up from under the table. "Ohh lord. My back is killing me! Maybe hiding under the desk isn't such a good idea after all." She says as she rubs and holds onto her back tightly. "You think?" I said laughing while teasing. She rushes and sit's on her chair turning it to me and facing me.

"What was he talking about?" "What do you mean?" "Don't act innocent! You know his coat thingy." "Oh that. That's nothing." I said as I put my notes together neatly organizing them in one folder. "Oh come on! Just tell me. I'm not going to tell anyone" "I didn't say that you are, I just don't think of it as a big deal to talk about." "Well I do! Come on... please?" "Okay okay" I said giving in out of annoyance. I must admit, I love this girl to death but she can be really annoying at times. The look on her face made me laugh so hard. She shirked out of happiness "Yayy!" as she clapped her hands quickly twice. "We all know that last night was a windy night. So he saw me shivering and he offered his coat to me, it's nothing really." "Omg! How can you say that it's nothing? You don't realize it. But this is love." "Oh Rebecca please grow up." "I don't think I'm the one in need of growing up but you." "Now If you don't mind, I have to go to Karmal's" I said trying to avoid this uncomfortable conversation. "I promise you someday you're going to have feelings for him and he'll have the same for you." "Don't make promises you can't keep." "Which is why I don't but in your case I will." "Alright see you later.

Rebecca's POV

I constantly watch Jannah walk out of the door, her long white skirt touching her ankles. Her heels tapping on the floor like music, and her many bracelets making noises as her hands move back and forth. She looks back and smiles at me whole heartily like she usually does before she leaves the room and I return it.

I'm telling you, one day she will have feelings for Mr. Malak. Who knows? Maybe she already has feelings for him; maybe she just doesn't want to point it out. Whatever the case is, one thing for sure is that the both of them will end up liking each other and I'll be there to say I told you so.  You might be asking, why am I annoying her? Why am I being persistent with her? Let me explain myself, I know Jannah more than anyone else in this office does. In her present past, men had always hurt her in despicable ways leading her to despise them for their actions, but let me ask you a question think about it for a moment; do you honestly think that Mr. Malak will hurt her? No right. I mean sure his prideful, rude, and even somewhat cruel but we all know he would never hurt a fly. Deep down in there I know he has a heart, he just needs love.
