Finally. The two big Interviews are over. I can finally breathe. Was I nervous? Nope. Not really. Who the hell am I kidding? Heck yah I was nervous I felt like I was going to throw up especially with AJ staring at me.
I honestly don't understand what brought him back, but I'll just remain silent and see what Allah has in store for me. In the main time while AJ is talking to Mr. Malak, I'm in my office fixing my files. For the first time Rebecca isn't here in the office to bother me.
I wonder where she is.
*NOCK NOCK*
Since I didn't bother looking up at the monitor I just pressed the button and yelled come in while still trying to organize my notes.
*THUD.*
My desk rumbled. And before my coffee could spill I got a hold of it. Even though I saved my coffee most of my files started flying around the room. I looked up and saw Kate. What on earth is this she devil monkey doing here?
"Kate?" I questioned as I whipped the coffee of the edges of my mug.
"Don't act too supprised you know I was coming." She responded rudely causing me to raise my eyebrow up.
"And why would I?" I said as I lay back on my chair folding my hands. "Don't play coy with me."
"Do me a favor Kate...Try not to compare me to you. Please. In the name of mercy. Please sister ma class is wayy too high for you." I said as I put both hands together begging her.
She leans one hand on the desk and points one figure at me spitting thoroughly while speaking.
"Listen Jannah. I don't know what you're up to or what wicked plan your planning behind that horrible fake provoking innocence of yours but if you mess with me, I swear b----" "You'll what?" I said as I stood up.
"Go on... You'll what?" She leans of the desk and moves back away from me as she puts on a mean disturbing face.
"Go on. Tell me. You'll what? Find someone else that I'm engaged to and steal them?"
"Jannah. Don't."
"After all that is what your good at." I said as I let out a forced laugh.
"Jannah. Stop!" "I mean who what've ever knowed that you Kate..." I stopped for a moment as I looked down and looked back up.
"Wow. You got me speechless. Ha" there I go again letting out a laugh. "You've really made quite the impression of yourself ma'am. Your just wow..."
"Jannah stop crossing your freaking limits!"
"Oh Snap! I guess I made the actress mad."
"Jannah. Stay in your limits."
"Sweetheart perhaps you've forgotten but don't worry. I don't mind reminding you. I have no limits when it comes to you. Now get out of my office!"
I shouted as I showed her the way to the door. It was pretty obvious that she was burning in the inside wanting to say something back but she knew that she just couldn't.
Her cheeks became so red and her throat kept moving. Ha! She was swallowing her spit as she tries to enrage in the anger.
I slammed the door as hard as I could as I tried to catch my breath. Great! I broke my door. They clearly told me not to slam the door too hard but I still did it anyway. I wonder what affect it will do. But that's not what matters right now. One of my important file is up the shelf.
But boy does she boil my water. She pisses me off so much, I swear. I mean how the hell do you come to my office yell at me and expect me to let you go just like that.
Nahhh for that it must be my hour fool.
I knelled down as I tried to pick up the files she made fall on the floor.
Mr. Malak's POV
So, everyone in the office is planning on having a welcome back surprise party for Brother and Jannah and my role job is to get them.
You must be thinking, who'd be stupid enough to give me a role unless they wanted to be fired by me for trying to control me? Well for your information. The stupid fool is Amanda. No one gets me like her. I've always have to fall for her traps; well I'm just doing the duty of a big brother.
Well that's weird. Jannah's door isn't closed today. She always closes it no matter what. I slowly open what's left of it as I peeked in. No sight of her anywhere. "Where could she possibly be?" I whispered under my breath as I opened it wider.
"Jannah?"
"Ouch!" She yelled. And before I realized it she fell on the ground. "Are you okay?" I responded. "I – I think so." She said as she rubbed her fist.
"Damn it Jannah. What were you doing up there?" I knelled down next to her.
"One of my files flow up there and I went to get it. It was too high so I stood on the chair."
"Let me see." I said as I took her hand away from her.
The moment I touched her hand I completely forgot my mission. They were so soft. It was as if I was holding a newborn's hand. I took them in and put them on her lap. "Wait here." I said as I walked out the office.
A few moments later I came back with medicine to rub on her fist before it get's swollen.
I opened the jar and applied some of the cream on her hand slowly.
The whole time she was quiet. After I finished I looked up to see if she was okay. When I looked at her face I caught her staring at me. I couldn't help myself but stare back. Her eyes shined and filled my heart with warmness.
For the first time in life. I had this feeling. This feeling that I never thought I'd have. Whatever it is, it's indescribable.
The wind blew into my hair and I felt it all over my face. I tried to fix it but she stopped me. Why? Why did she do that?
She slowly reached her hand and pulled out a piece of ripped paper which appeared to be lying on my hair.
"The wind finally blow it away from there and it landed on your hair." She said as she tried to take the awkward moment away.
I smiled as I realized that we are both sitting down on the floor together holding hands staring onto to each other's eyes.
Why is she not looking away? Has this suddenly become an Indian movie? We should be expecting the song anytime now.
*BOOM*
We both looked away and stared at the door. I stood up and pulled it but it wouldn't open. "What happened?" "The door seems to be jammed." "What do you mean?" "I mean that..." I turned to her and looked into her eyes "We are locked."
Here you go! Okay so I have a question for you guys. Should I stop writing this book and write a new one? I'm not so sure you guys are into to it anymore. So please comment and let me know what you guys think. Don't forget to vote. Next goal for update is 10 or more Votes!
