Jannah's POV

"I...uh... I mean good morning sir." I said when I finally realized that it's my cold prideful boss staring at me. I moved my head out of the window and stood straight waiting for a response. He looked at me pricing his eyes through mines without saying a word. He then took his eyes of off mines and stared at the time.

I don't know what do. The whole satiation has just gotten very awkward. Ummm can you pray for me? You know for this entire satiation to disappear. Maybe I'm dreaming.

Who cares! Weather I'm dreaming or not this guy is just too much. Would it kill you to say good morning? Ugh, I swear if I could get my hands on his ego I would... You know what; I'll just break the silence.

"Are you going to get in or just stand there?" Soo he decided to break the silence. Okay.

Without saying a word, I opened the door and went in closing the door behind me. So now you're probably wondering what's going on. Come on Jannah speak to him. Say something fool!

Mhmm, I don't know what to say. I mean think about it, my boss came outside my house, which shocked me deeply, and when I say good morning he glances his eyes at me and then turns his head away, and now you're telling me to say something! Nope...

*RINGS*

I looked down on my phone and saw Rebecca's name on the screen.

"Hey Rebb. What's going on?" I said as I put my phone on my left ear turning my head to the window so that I can avoid Mr. Pride, I mean Mr.Malak's eyes.

"Where are you?" "I'm on my way. Why? Is everything alright?" "I don't know maybe. I mean Mr. Freedman is here." "What? But his early!" "I know, I told him that. Listen, if you don't hurry up Kate is going to take over the story." Of course she is. That's her objective after all; she only steals what people have.

"But don't worry, Mr. Malak isn't here yet. And until his here she can't take it without out his permission. So hurry up before he comes alright?" Oh Rebecca, I wish that I could tell you that we are here together. But if I do you're going to start with your love nonsense, and his going to start listening to our conversation, so it's best if I just keep quite.

"Alright, I'll be there in a jiffy." "Okay." "Bye." "Bye." I hanged of the phone and put it down on my lap.

"Looks like we're going to be stuck here for a while." He said leaning back on the chair. I looked out the window and it appeared to be a traffic jam. Great just what I need!

By his face expression, it was pretty obvious that he was starting to become frustrated. Maybe I should say something. "Sir?" He looked at me with those shiny angry eyes nodding his head at me.

"You know that you didn't have to do this." "I know." He said turning his head back staring at the street light. Okay, I'll just stopped digging my own embarrassing grave and be quite.

Mr. Malak's POV

You might be thinking that I'm a rude one, well I couldn't agree more. I don't want to be mean trust me. But those words just find a way out of my mouth. I guess that you can say ever since Jannah came back with Khalid, I don't feel right. I don't know Jannah that well, yet it feels like I known her for years.

I always look forward to her coming to my office asking me questions and when she wasn't here for those two weeks, everything turned black.

Do you think that I should say something to her? You know, to break the silence. After all it's my turn so I might as well.

I looked at the mirror and I saw her looking out. Her grey eyes were slowly watching people as if she was observing information about them. She blinked and her eyes hit mines when she finally looked away from the window.

Like always, she smiled and looked down causing me to look away.

"Let me guess, you forgot to bring my coat once again." She looked up widening her big eyes. "I'm so sorry. I promise to bring it in tomorrow insallah." "You can keep it if you want." "What?" "The reason why you keep forgetting it is because you like it right?" "Noo." "Sureee." I said in a playful tone. I looked up at the mirror and I saw her smiling.

"Sir. I'm very sorry." I turned around facing her and she stares at me. "For?" "Well, I ask you way too many questions. Sometimes I feel like I'm bothering you." "One thing you should know is to never apologize for wanting to learn." "But-" "Don't worry about it." I said cutting her sentience before she finishes. She looks up and nods her head.

"Now it's my turn to ask the questions..."

If you know what I mean....
