His lips pressed against my own. I put my palms to his chest and shoved him away from me.
"What the hell?"
I stared at him. He looked at the floor.
"I'm sorry I couldn't.... I didn't mean-" He stutters
I back away, my cheeks burning of embarrassment.
"I'll .. I'll find my own way to the training room.. just by myself...please just by myself."
I wiped my lips gently and walked away quickly. Jesus what was wrong with me. I find a directory in the middle of a waiting room.
"Thank god some directions."
I search for the training room. Level 3, room 115. I quickly make my way to the training room. I open the door slowly to make sure someone isn't there. I see Zachary near the punching bag station. Beads of sweat were all over his body and his muscles tensed when he forced a powerful hit to the punching bag. He wipes sweat off his forehead and grabbed his water bottle. He wrapped a towel around his shoulders and stared at the window. I open the door and gently close it, stepping inside I know he doesn't notice me yet.
"Zachary?"
He jumped as he saw me come through the doorway. He wiped his head and fixed his hair a bit.
"Kaitlyn. I didn't see you there-"
"Let's get this training over with."
I walk towards him and pick up a gun. He raised his eyebrow, clearly surprised I would choose the gun. He smiles, walking towards me.
"Okay well, first we start with the shooting range. If you can't shoot a gun then you can't survive."
"Contrary but , I'll just believe that for the sake of this session."
I grasp the handle and walk over to a line that is marked with yellow tape. I lift it above my shoulders so that my arms are strait out. I pull the trigger and it hits the wall behind the target.
Zachary laughs.
"Hey it's not that funny."
"Hilarious actually, for a girl that has such a bad attitude and a feisty fighting technique I'm surprised you can't even shoot a gun."
"I'm surprised no one has acknowledged that your an ass." And with that he continues to laugh.
I roll my eyes and lift my gun up again.
This time I shoot the second layer of the target, so close to the bulls eye.
"Not bad."
"You try!"
I shove the gun at his chest and step back with my arms crossed. He huffs and lifts the gun. He shoots the middle of the target on the first try.
"Beat that princess."
He gives me a smirk and I snatch back the gun. I lift up the gun one more time and shoot. It hits the middle of the target.
"Yes!"
I drop the gun and jump up and down.
"Beat that princess."
I mock him and stick out my tongue.
"Your such a kid."
"Yeah yeah whatever."
He chuckles as I place the gun down in stationary.
"Alright now we have to do knifes."
"Knifes?"
"Let's say you don't have a gun and all you have is a dagger, you have to throw the dagger at the opponent."
"Um.... can i just stick with guns cause...."
"Is something wrong with knives , Kaitlyn?"
He smirks and I look away. I've always had a fear of knives, ever since my parents died.
"No... I just prefer guns." I lie
"Don't tell me your afraid of knifes?"
His eyebrow is raised and a smirk is spread across his face.
"God now what are you going to do tease me?"
He grabs a knife and grabs my arm and places it in my hand. He looks me in the eyes, placing his hand above the small of
"I'll help you." He says softly.
He turns me around to face the body board and wraps his arms in my arms. I feel his breath on my neck causing me to shiver.
My body completely tangled with his.
"Ready?"
I nod my head. He raises my hand and throws the knife with my hand. It hits the target, he stands back proud. He stares into my eyes, arms still folded together.
"Zachary?"
I turn around and see Maddison standing by the doorway.
"Maddie, whats up?"
Zachary turns around still holding me.
I quickly get out of his grasp and he looks at me then at Maddie.
"I'll go, thanks for the training Zach."
"Zach?"
Maddie teeth are clenched tight as she looks at me. I let go of Zachary and head to the doorway. She's clearly not okay with these training sessions of ours, she's clearly not okay with me being here.
"His name isn't Zach."
Maddie snaps at me. I step back a little.
"I'm I didn't meant to.. I'll see you later."
"Kaitlyn-"
"Bye Zachary."
I head out the door, what am I doing ?
