HIM

A month passed by, and here I'am... staring at the roof, as I sat on the couch on the living room... I then felt a pat on my shoulder, and saw that it was Elias.

"Dude, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"U-um... ah– I just... does it have to um, like–"

"Any minute now Dude..." because of that, he just stared at me, sighing... I laughed and held his shoulder, patting it, "I'm just joking dude, ano na kasi yun?"

"Um, hypothetically... does kissing a person have to have any meaning?"

"Huh?"

"Like, if you kiss a person, does it have a meaning to it?" Napakamot ako ng ulo doon.

Hmm... well, I've kissed a lot of girls, but it doesn't have any meaning to it naman, and bakit naman magkakaroon ng meaning doon?

"No, of course not– why is that even a question?"

"Oh, uhh... I was just asking."

"Why?"

"Just... curious, natanong ko rin naman yan kanina kay Skyler..."

"And what did he say?"

"Yes..." Tumawa ako doon.

"Lol, of course he would say that... may Alexa yun kaya... syempre."

"Right..." He said, nodding his head. I looked at him suspiciously.

"Did something happen?"

"Wala naman... it's just that, ahm Rachel... kinda kissed me...?"

I froze for a moment when I heard that, processing what my best friend just said...

"Ahh... wait what?!"

"Rachel kissed me."

I don't know why, but I felt like crying, aww my best friend has grown up!

"I know and what!? When? How? Wait, is this the Rachel that's your fiancée or is this another Rachel?" Napataas kilay naman siya doon.

"Why would another Rachel kiss me? And that would be cheating if that ever happened."

Ok, sometimes nakakalimutan ko na sobrang seryoso ang lalaki na toh, I shrugged it off and just continued to ask.

"So... Rachel kissed you? Did she say anything else?"

"As a thank you daw yun, because I helped her..."

"Pota ano yun, another line na 'as a friend'? Hay nako."

"Ha?"

"Tsk, wala... well what do you want to do then?"

"Um... I don't know, that's why I'm telling you this."

"Hmm, hehe– wait did you kiss her back?"

"Not really... I was taken aback, so..."

"Mmm... So how about you repay her then?"

"What do you mean?"

"Kiss her, as a thank you too."

"Huh?"

"Like if she helps you, then as a thank you... you kiss her as well."

"Oh.... right, sige." I nodded in satisfaction and patted his back.

This is why I love this guy, he just goes with the flow with me with my craziness sometimes.
