Kaveh's pov.
- Slow down on those.
Lambad said while I was drinking my fifth cup of wine. I was almost crying again. Just thinking about Alhaithiam and every good time we spent together. I wanted to explain to Alhaithiam what happened and how I didn't cheat on him. My eyes were getting watery again. Lambad seemed to notice and patted me on the back.
- Hey, it's gonna be alright.
I looked at my phone and just looked at our old texts. Most of them were just 'I love you' and stuff like that. I wanted him to come, and we'd make up. I wanted him to come and tell me that it was all a mistake. That everything we said was a mistake. I wanted him to come and pick me up and put his jacket on my back. I finished my glass of wine.
- Could I have another cup of wine, please?
I asked to lambad. He looked at me with a bit of pity and poured me some more wine.
- Here.
I drank the wine pretty fast, and I felt really drunk. I was so drunk, in fact, that I took my phone and called Alhaithiam. I was surprised he didn't block me. He answered surprisingly.
- What the fuck do you want Kaveh?
You could hear the irritation in his voice
- Can you pick me up..? I'm drunk...
He sighed and hung up.
Later
I heard the door of the bar open and closed. I finished my seventh glass of wine when I felt a tap on my shoulders.
I turned my head to see Alhaithiam.
- Alhathiam!
I said before hugging him.
- Ugh... You reek booze Kaveh! Come... this night you'll sleep at my house. Only this once!
- Thank you... let me pay hold on...
Alhaithiam put some mora on the counter.
- There. Come.
- Alhaithiam... you didn't need to...
He took me on his back and walked to his apartment. I felt sleepy while I was on his back, and I couldn't help but nuzzle my face onto his shoulder. When we got to the apartment, it was like a wave of feelings hit me.
- We're here. You stay here only this night. Alright?
- Of course... Thanks...
I said in a soft, sleepy voice.
- You woke me up when you called me, so don't fucking wake me up tonight or tomorrow.
- Yeah of course... Sorry Alhathiam. But could I please explain what happened?
He stared at me for a moment before responding.
- Maybe tomorrow.
- Thanks...
I walked away, and went to my room. I opened the door and felt so many memories rush back, almost suffocating me. I looked around while I sat down on my bed. I laid down for a bit before falling asleep. Why was Alhaithiam so caring all of a sudden? I thought he would hate me. Even tho he didn't know what happened.
Morning ( so many time skips tf)
- Kaveh! Wake up, god damnit! It's 3 pm! Dont sleep the whole day!
I woke up while Alhaithiam was yelling at me. When he realized I was awake, he backed off.
- Took you some time.
He sighed. I put the cover over my head and groaned.
- Five more minute pleeeeaaase.
He sighed again and took off the covers. He looked at me dead in the eyes.
- Get up. It's now, or you won't explain what happened to you.
My eyes widened as he said that. I just remembered what happened. Maybe I was hungover, but my ears were ringing every time he would raise his voice or make a loud noise. I got up even tho my head was spinning, and I lost my vision for like I quarter of a second.
- Come...
- Haithiam wait.
I grabbed his hands and looked at the ground. The moment I called him that his eyes widened, and he turned around to look at me.
- I love you, and I want to tell you that this is a misunderstanding.
I whispered but loud enough so he could hear me.
- Is that your explanation?
He scoffed. He turned around and continued to walk.
- No, of course not!
I catched up with him and started to walk. It seemed like after what happened, he became emotionless like before. He sat down and stared at me.
- Ok. Now could you please explain to me what the fuck happened.
He asked me with zero patience.
- Yeah... So I had the meeting with the client as you know. I was explaining to him every detail, and then he started to touch my shoulders and look at me in this weird way. Later, he wrapped his arms around me and kissed me even tho I didn't want him to do it. Then-
I was going to continue, but then he cut me off.
- Then why were caressing his fucking chest Kaveh. Even tho you didn't want it at the moment. You liked it.
- No no! Let me continue!
His eyes widened before he returned to his old emotionless look.
- I lost my strength for a moment, but then I pushed him off. Then he came back and put his hands under my shirt and touched my chest. I pushed him off again. Im sorry Haithiam, I really am-
All of a sudden, Alhathiam hugged and didn't let me go.
- Don't you dare say sorry. I'm sorry, Kaveh... I should've let you explain yourself. im sorry, I just saw you with him, and I thought you were cheating on me.
I froze at the hug until I calmed myself down and hugged him. I tightened the hug. It felt like I was more in love with him than before, if that's even possible. He held me close before letting me go. My eyes got watery, and his too. We started to cry. I was more loud while he was silent. He held my hand before taking me in his arms. He laid me down carefully on his bed. He laid down next to me and put the cover on both of us. I hugged him while resting my head on his chest. We started to whisper little 'I love you' and 'I'm sorry'. It was great. We kissed and hugged until we both fell asleep. His body heat kept me warm the entire night. I don't know if it's because we're really emotional right now, but it feels like we both love each other more now.
