Alhaithiam's Pov.
Kaveh had planned a date with me at our favorite picnic spot. It was on a hill with a big tree. Kaveh looked stressed since this morning, so I hope this date will take those things off his mind. Kaveh already planned everything, and we just needed to head out now. We were holding hands as we walked together. The sun made his hair glow as we walked.
I had a suprise for him. On this date, I would propose to Kaveh. I already prepared what I was going to say to him. I was extremely nervous. What would happen if he said no... and to top it all off, he looked stunning. I don't think I've ever seen him so pretty in my whole life. I think those were new clothes too. He was wearing a bit of makeup. He even did his nails. He was holding a bag with food for our picnic. When we got to the hill, we sat down and unpacked our stuff.
We started to eat after talking about whatever. We brought some cheese, fresh fruit, and some wine. We were right in front of the sunset, so I had to propose quickly before the sun was gone. Kaveh cupped my cheek and kissed me. We kissed for some time before we pulled away. The sun was about to set. It was time.
- Kaveh, I have a question for you-
- Hathiam, I have a question for you-
We said at the same time. We both nervously laughed.
- Y- you can go first, Hathiam...
Kaveh said with a soft, nervous voice.
- N-no..! You can go first, Kaveh..!
We both laughed before agreeing that we'd say it at the same time.
- Ok Hathiam... I'll count to three... one two three...
We both took something from our pocket. I took out a ring, and from the nervousness, I couldn't see what Kaveh took.

We both froze and stopped when we realized we were both on our knees with a ring. We were both speechless before Kaveh started to laugh a bit, which made me laugh. He jumped onto me and hugged me tightly as he kissed my neck, jaw line, and cheek. His smile was wide and bright as he nuzzled his face on my shoulder.
- Can... Can I say what I was gonna say?
Kaveh asked me whispering in my ear.
- Yeah...
I let him go as he got on one knee with a beautiful ring in hand.
- Alhaitham...
He started hesitating.
- I don't think I ever met someone like you. Ever since we were in the akademiya and I was your little senior helping you with math... I never thought this would happen, even tho I had a crush on you.... and it genuinely broke my heart when we decided to part ways.
His eyes started to water
- God... Im sorry, hathiam...
He laughed through his shaky voice.
- It's alright... can you continue?
- Y-yeah...
He took some deep breaths and continued.
- The day you found me at the tavern... I... felt that feeling again. And when you told me I could stay... well... I fell for you.
His whole face was flushed, even the tip of his ears.
- And any time we argued, I'd be heartbroken. But sometimes I could tell you genuinely cared for me. And that night when we got drunk and had sex... I thought our relationship would be over... I was terrified...
His voice got shaky as he spoke.
- But you comforted me. Even on the day when I tried to kill myself...
Little tears dripped from his eyelashes
- You were there, and you gave me a reason to live, and I'll be endebted to you for the rest of my life. I love you, and nothing can ever change that..! Alhaitham, will you marry me?
- Yes of course!
After he said all that, I got up and hugged him. Kissing his cheek
- That is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard.
He rested his head on my shoulders and chuckled.
- I'm glad you like it, Hathiam... It's your turn...
He whispered into my ear softly. I nodded and got on one knee with a ring. I had to take deep breaths before I spoke.
- Kaveh... When I saw you at the tavern crying... I had no idea what happened. I was concerned, and I dont think I cared about someone like this. You truly changed my life...
I tried to calm myself down before continuing.
- It's a blessing that we met again... because now I can't imagine my life without you in it. And I really dont want you to leave it... I love you, Kaveh... will you marry me?
After I said all that. Kaveh sat on my lap and started to kiss me.
- Yes... and I love you, too, haitham.
We continued to kiss passionately. We held onto each other as we kissed.
- Let's go home, Haitham...
I nodded, and we left before we took it one step further. When we got to our house we threw the basket on the floor and started to make out. We closed the door before I took him and guided him to the couch. I made him sit on my lap. We couldn't let go of each other. We started to touch each other. We groped each other with passion. I took him in my arms without separating our lips. We got to the room, and we started to undress each other.
