(Elsa's POV)
--a few days later--
I would stay in my room all day if I could. Unfortunately there were certain things that I had to leave my room for. One day, as I was walking back to my room, I got the fright of my life. I had just turned a corner when I saw, staring at me, a face. An upside-down face with a mischievous smirk. I was startled and almost fell over.
"What's up?" Jack Frost said, grinning at me from the air. He flipped around and perched on the crook of his staff. Now the right way up, he laughed at my shocked face and followed up with, "well?'
"Uhhh, what are you doing?"
"Asking what's up."
"okaaaay."
"Sooo, what's up?"
"Oh, uh n-n-nothing."
"Uh huuhhh." Jack said, though it was obvious he wasn't buying it. "So what's really up?"
I tried to just push past him but he floated into the air and repositioned himself to once again block my path.
"Where ya going?" he asked in a singsong voice.
Again I tried to push past him and again he just moved back.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"Please just- "I started but then shook my head and left my sentence unfinished.
"Just what?" he asked. If I had been paying attention, I might have seen the mischievous twinkle in his eye. But I wasn't and didn't. It wouldn't have mattered even if I did. All I wanted to do was go back to my room and close the door. I didn't want to talk to anyone. But he just wouldn't go away.
"Just talk to me," then, almost as an afterthought he added, "please?"
"no"
"Please"
"no"
"pleeease"
"..."
"Hmm," he said out loud, "maybe I need to add something. How about" he paused and stroked his chin as if he was thinking really hard, "pretty please with a cherry on top?"
I just stared back at him.
"What? Don't like cherries? Okay well maybe with sprinkles on top?... Still no? what then? licorice, raspberries, jellybeans, chocolate?"
He said this in such a funny way that, even though I tried to, I couldn't hide my smile.
"Ah ha!" he exclaimed. "Chocolate then?"
I couldn't hide my smile anymore. No matter how much I didn't want to, he had managed to get me to talk.
"Chocolate is my favorite."
"So, a chocolate please would suffice?'
"Chocolate anything actually. My sister and I used to- " I stopped myself. I didn't want to think about let alone talk about Anna.
"Used to?" Jack prompted.
"Never mind"

(Jack's POV)
"Chocolate anything actually. My sister and I used to- "
"Used to?"
"Never mind"
Well at least I knew she had a sister now. That was something. Oh, and that she liked chocolate. I was about to continue when North showed up and grabbed me by the scruff of my neck.
"Hey," I protested.
"You are not bothering the lady I hope?" His tone was serious but his face gave away that he was joking. He plopped me down and thrust a piece of parchment into my hands. Patting me on the back with his heavy hand, he elaborated.
"I have some things that I need you to go get, okay? Is all on list. And be quick, I need soon."
"But-"
"No buts, now off you go."
Huffing, I grabbed my staff and flew off to do North's stupid errands.

(Elsa's POV)
After Jack had left, North turned to me." Well that's Jack Frost for you. He strong and brave but still child inside. This good for center but not to worry, he not always that way."
I nodded, but all I really wanted to do was go back to my room. However, he didn't seem to be finished talking to me. "Now as for you, I have job for you too. Tomorrow we begin. But for now have good sleep."
With that he walked away with the jolly step that he always seemed to have. On the one hand I really, really didn't want to do anything. But then again, I supposed it was the least I could do since they were letting me stay there. As I went to bed and braced for the nightmares, I wondered what tomorrow would bring...
