(Elsa's POV)

Though she was sitting calm and still, her mind was frantic and racing.

Through that frightening and unexpected event she had come to a realisation. She had become complacent... again. Stagnant. She needed to think logically. She couldn't stay here forever. With Pitch her thoughts were too full of pain and depression to think of things such as leaving. It was probably better there anyway. Though she hadn't hurt anyone since leaving ... yet, that is.

Could she really live here all her life? Despite all the pain and torment at least Pitch wanted her. These 'Guardians' seemed to have found her by accident. Why was she here? When would they tire of her and cast her out...or worse. Then Jack had yelled at her. She knew she deserved it; she was nothing except a weak, pathetic, burden. Even her family didn't truly want her. Probably the only reason they didn't banish her was to save face with the public, it wouldn't look good for the monarchs to drive out a young girl for seemingly no reason. It could cause anarchy, another time where she'd been nothing but trouble, a burden, a disgrace who had nothing of value to give.

She wished it was different. But wising was stupid and useless, just like her.

--flashback--

A dull buzzing in the back of her skull. Her vision was hazy but she could see his mouth moving, saying something. As the ringing in her ears faded the words became clearer.

"Tell me!!!!"

She couldn't think straight. What did he want to know? The pain made it hard to concentrate.

"I know you know so just TELL ME!!!"

She couldn't say anything.

"You are absolutely USELESS!! Just tell me and we can be done here!!! You're only causing yourself more pain you stupid idiot!!!

It was then that the pain became too much and the world went black.

--end of flashback--

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her shoulders shook as the fabric of her dress slowly became wet. She squeezed her eyes shut and dug her nails into her palms willing herself to stop. It wouldn't help. It would only be annoying to anyone unfortunate enough to pass by. She held her breath until she started to feel dizzy. Releasing the trapped air she felt better.

Maybe she should just leave. The elements would be kinder to her, besides the cold never bothered her anyway. She didn't know what would happen to her if she did. Maybe sweet oblivion would finally take her, or more likely, Pitch would find her again.

Then again if she left. Where would she go? Home? Ha! What home did she have left. If she even knew where it was or how to get there. She didn't even know where she was.

And then what Jack said. Could she really let all their effort be for nothing?

Well her life had come to nothing anyway. Why did they need her here? They didn't seem to be kidnapers so technically she could leave whenever she wanted. Right?

(North's POV)

"Elsa! Jack should not be only one who gets to see you out of room ho. Come we have some tea and cookie. Do not worry elves not make them hohoho."
