(Elsa's POV)

Tooth immediately began spouting off all kinds of information as if she was trying to answer any question I might have before I even asked it.

"North probably told you about all of this already and I'm so glad you're here. It's so nice to have another girl around. Well I mean I do have my tooth fairies and I love them but there's just something missing in a conversation you know. Anyway, we have all the supplies around the corner here. Oh do you like my home? I love it though I know the colour palette isn't for everyone. In fact, Jack once tried to convince me to paint it all dark blue. He almost painted it himself too but then decided it was too much work. Goodness the pranks he pulls. Though I must say I'm surprised he hasn't pranked you yet, usually he can't resist especially if its someone who doesn't suspect him. Oh, here we are plenty of different coloured fabrics here for you to choose from, so what do you think?!?!"

"umm"

"yes?"

"wh-what are we doing here exactly?"

"Oh my did North not tell you? We're here to get you a new outfit of course. You cant seriously go on wearing that one."

I looked down at myself. I guess it was true. I don't think I had ever changed since Pitch took me. I fingered the worn fabric. I guess I had never really thought about it before but this was the last thing I had left of my old life.

I was as torn as the dress.

I couldn't go on wearing this its true. I also didn't want the memories it held of my time with Pitch. But it also held memories of a previous life. A life that I tried to forget. I life where I only caused pain for the ones I loved. I didn't want to be reminded of that. I didn't know what my future held or if I even had one. But I had to let this go. I had to let it all go. They were better off without me. She was better off without me.

Quietly I replied, "okay"

(Jack's POV)

I finally arrived back at North's workshop, ready to give him a piece of my mind about that stupid list. But he wasn't there. In fact the first person I saw on my return was the Easter Kangaroo himself. Great, just great.

"Wit happened to you Frost?"

"None of your business kangaroo" I was coming off harsher than I should but I was in a bad mood and fed up after that stupid 'treasure hunt!'

"For the last time, I. am. not. a. KANGAROO!"

"Oh yeah? Coulda fooled me!"

"Why you-"

Just then North came marching in. He looked around then zeroed in on me." Did you get list?"

"Yeah and it almost killed me."

"Good, now just need to take these and- Oh sleighbells! Someone needs to fetch Elsa from Tooth palace."

Without thinking I immediately burst out with "I'll do it!" and bolted out the door before anyone could respond. Anything to get away from that stupid kangaroo.

I took my time getting there, after all, I reasoned, I had certainly earned it. I loved flying. The wind was wild and energetic, just like me. Soaring up in the clouds then skimming the earth to duck under trees and through valleys I made my way onwards.

Breathless and cheered up after that stupid list and then Bunny I landed at the tooth palace with a smile on my face. I began calling for Tooth. I saw some movement out of the corner of my eye. Too big to be one of the baby tooths, must be Tooth herself. But it wasn't. I turned and what I saw left me speechless.
