3 DAYS LATER -----

It's been 3 days since Sunghoon, Jake or any of the guys showed up to school. I was worried sick that I even had to go to Sunghoon's house. I was only met by the butler, but he looked scared when he saw me.

"I'm afraid you must stay away from Mister Park for now. Him and his family are not here, unfortunately."

And with that, he shut the door. Father also mentioned how Sunghoon's dad hadn't shown up for longer than 3 days. I had no idea what to do. I didn't;t know what, why, and how all of this was happening.

Most of all, why was Sunghoon getting fought to the point he's surrounded by blood? I know damn well this isn't taekwondo training. What could he possibly be doing? Is he alright right now? Why isn't he here?

Hyemi was missing Jake so much to the point she sobbed everyday out of worry and fear. I tried to stay strong, even though I would sometimes have silent tears leak through my eyes.

We were sitting at the school fountain, dazing off after our classes all ended. I didn't know what to do anymore, and my eyes were dry. So, I tried to sleep while Hyemi began to throw coins into the water making wishes about Jake.

I was having a dream about Sunghoon when someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"Wake up, noona."

"Huh?"

I rubbed my eyes and opened them, finding Niki peeking over my face. I screamed and fell sideways onto the pavement, and Niki began to howl with laughter at me. I glared at him, and asked "Why are you here?"

After what seemed like hours, he finally stopped and grew serious. 

"Right. What I came to tell you was that, me and my hyungs are in a...bad situation right now. My hyungs include your boyfriend," he said, wiggling his brows.

"But right now we need you to stay away from him and the rest of us. But more crucially Hoon hyung since he's the most dangerous."

"Dangerous? What are you saying?" I asked, confused. 

"I know you saw that photo, so please, I am saying all of this on behalf of Mr. Park. Please, he exaggerates, that if you don't wanna end up like him in the photo he suggests you stay away from him until we let you know that you can get near him again."

As Niki began to walk away, I grabbed his arm.

"How do you know about all of this and I don't?"

"Let's say I'm better at keeping secrets." replied Niki, smiling.

"Stop fooling around and tell me the truth. What is happening and why are you guys getting beaten up?"

Niki sighed, saying, "Just call Sunghoon hyung, he'll explain to you. But that'll be the only time you can talk to him for now."

"Are you kidding?" I asked in disbelief.

He shrugged in reply, leaving me alone. I had no idea where Hyemi had disappeared to, but I called Sunghoon's number.

He answered.

📞 "Minju? What are you doing?"

"I don't care if I'm breaking some kind of rule here or whatever, but I need to know what is going on with you so I can understand why I have to stay away from you and the others!"

📞 "I'm really sorry, I should have, but I couldn't. I was in a hurry so I couldn't say anything."

"Tell me now, I'm all ears."
