— 2 YEARS LATER

2 years had now gone by, and a lot had changed.

The mafia was officially over, and most of the members were either killed or retired from the job. Unfortunately, XG mafia hadn't been caught. They came to an end, though, with the leader dead, most of the members killed or too scared to continue.

XP mafia was currently dead; all of us had no business to do within the field, focusing on having regular lives. Same with the girls.

We were all in our 20's, working or studying, or both. Things were going smoothly. Everyone's relationships, lives, everything.

Sunghoon, I and our families soon changed the mafia into a business company, working on hotels and buildings around South Korea.

His father had made him the heir to everything he owned, now taking a rest from everything he dealt with for 57 years and staying as the Chairman.

Sunghoon was now the CEO and President of Park Labels, and I worked as his Secretary.

Just like our fathers.

Jay had ended up with Dayeon, dating for 2 years now, me and Sunghoon for 5 years, and Heeseung had fallen in love with his first love once again; a girl named Jiwoo. Niki had found the star of his life, Suha.

Jungwon mastered taekwondo, Niki pursued his career to become the next Nicki Minaj, and Sunoo became a vlogger. A very renowned one.

Someone's missing, right?

Jake Shim.

I'm so sorry for not having that agent properly unconscious. It's all my fault that you died, you were never meant to.

You were supposed to live a happy life with Hyemi,

Have a future together,

Keep the happiness in each other's lives.

But then again, that wasn't what was written down in your fate.

You were, and still are, Sunghoon's best friend.

Again, I am sorry for what I did. The guilt knowing if I could've choked that dark agent, you would've been here, with us.

Rest well.

As for Hyemi....

She couldn't get over Jake, never letting her heart accept another man other than him.

As she continued her studies as an engineering major, she mourned for him every month. Her eyes were always swollen and puffy, eyebags until her cheekbones, the liveliness she once had drained out of her.

She went hysterical at a few points, thinking about taking her own life as well to join Jake.

I tried my best to keep her cheerful, but she just wasn't the same anymore.

I remind myself to keep her healthy and happy, for the sake of Jake.

I'm truly sorry, Hyemi, for having you lose hope in bringing him back. I'll try my best to make up for it in any way possible, by all means.

— PRESENT DAY

I poured the coffee into the mug, walking back into Sunghoon's office to give it to him.

"Here, Mr. Park. Your latte," I said, placing it down on his desk.

He nodded, still standing on the balcony of his office.

"Come, look with me, Minju," he said.

I stepped towards him, looking down at the bustling streets and view of all the buildings. He placed a hand on my waist, pulling me to him in a hurry.

"Uh, Mr. Park? We're at work."

"What did I say about the formalities, love?" he asked, facing me as he fixed my hair, patting my bun. "We're dating, and everyone knows it."

"Alright, Sunghoon. But still, what if someone sees us?" I asked, looking at him.

He stared back at me, "Do you think the paparazzi are going to climb 20 levels of this building to catch a picture of us?"

"Oh, they might as well. 'Sunghoon Park and his girlfriend, Lee Minju, seen having a romantic moment'," I mocked, having a chuckle come out of Sunghoon.

He then paused, looking at me surprised.

"Romantic, hm?"

"Yes, romantic. Even if you touch my hand they'll call it a romantic moment!" I said in frustration, looking at the sky as I sighed.

He smirked at me, and I looked back at him.

"What?"

"What would they call this, then?" he asked, pushing me onto the wall and pinning me.

One hand travelled up my body to my jaw, caressing it, while the other one was slammed onto the wall. His eyes were on my lips, then meeting my eyes.

"I- Sunghoon-"

"Would this be considered steamy?" he asked, a playful smirk on his face.

"Seriously, we're at work!" I exclaimed, pushing him off and acting annoyed.

He then scoffed, "Hmph, fine. Just wait until we get home. Or maybe in the car. I don't know."

My jaw fell open, and he used his index finger to raise it back. "Don't drool yet, Minnie~"

I rolled my eyes, whispering in his ears, "More like you drooling over me."

He laughed, engulfing me in his arms as he swayed around the place, balancing on one foot and then the other. A smile naturally grew on my face, hugging him back.

"I really, really, truly love you, Minnie. You're the love of my life~"

"I love you 10 times more, Hoonie~"

He pulled away from me, now serious.

"I love you 100 times more."

"I love you 10,000 times more!"

"I love you infinity  times more!"

I smiled at his victorious smile, planting a peck on his lips.

God, I love this man too much.
