"Shit's about to go down," said Jake, stepping out of the limo, holding Hyemi's hand.
I extended my arm, having Minju smile at me and link her arm with mine. After everyone had finally reached the casino, we entered. Mr. Lee had printed out fake entry passes for all of us, so the guards didn't get suspicious. However, he did look skeptical at our huge group.
The casino was packed with people. The majority of people were playing games, or gambling, while men wearing sunglasses walked around the rooms. Our agents, that were wearing masks, entered first, filling the room.
Father gathered us all, then said, "Alright, everyone. Remember the procedure and our plan. Plan A; try to negotiate with Jung and his minions about trashing this place. Or we go for Plan B; attack them but leave the innocents unharmed. Understood? And keep your bulletproof shins and vests on."
"I like Plan B," I said, laughing with Jake.
"We all know you do. Now go," said Father, urging the undercover agents.
Once everyone had filled in for the front and back, we stepped inside.
"Waah, is this what adults usually do?" questioned Niki, looking at a table of old men laughing their heads off.
"No, Niki. Stay alert, everyone," replied Mr. Lee.
He then took me by the hand and whispered to me by the side, excusing me and himself from Minju.
"Sunghoon, are you sure she's ready for this? I can't imagine what could happen out here to her. I'm still unsure how she got to convince me of such a stupid idea."
"Don't worry, Mr. Lee. She's good, really." I replied, having him sigh in relief. "I'll be with her to make sure nothing happens to her."
"You promise?"
"I swear on my life, nothing will happen to her. Even if a single scar is visible on her, you can shoot me." I said.
He patted my back and smiled in approval, before leaving with Father.
Me and Minju had stayed together, acting as a couple. Same with Jake and Hyemi, but Jay and Sunoo had parted different ways, while Heeseung stayed with Niki for his safety.
We joined a table where 3 people were playing roulette. Minju seemed to have no idea what to do, so I took the lead.
The dealer hadn't said anything yet, so I placed my chips as fast as I could, making outside bets.
"No more bets," he said, right after I had placed my last chip.
A person near me scoffed, three chips left in his palm.
The dealer had then spotted Minju, as she was just looking at the table.
"Aren't you going to play, dear?" he said, his eyes endearing as he looked at Minju.
It took a second to hear her reply, as she wore a slightly disgusted expression. "No, thank you."
"Oh c'mon, join in. It'll be fun," he said, a grin growing as he inched closer to Minju.
"Hyung, he has a gun in his pocket," said Jungwon through our in-ear monitors.
Minju had heard, as she began to smile awkwardly at the man. "No, really, I'm fine," she said, stepping away slowly.
He grabbed her by the arm, his voice more demanding, "Now honestly, it's jus-"
Before I could reach for Minju, she had smacked the old man's hand away from her, then slapped him in the face with her purse.
