Training had started. Sunghoon had taken me to an indoor arena, having me blindfolded. He said it was a precaution by his dad to not reveal the location of their headquarters.

He took the blindfold off of me, having me look around the place. There were fake bodies for targeting, guns of all kinds, knives, and any kind of weapon.

Sunghoon was already holding a gun in his hand, aiming it toward a body. Suddenly, the bodies began to move, circling and coming closer to us. He began to shoot them all down, dodging them and dragging me with him.

After all the bodies had fallen down, he blew the tip of the gun, saying "That, is how you kill."

"Nothing special." I retorted, trying to drop his ego. Though I would be unsuccessful since he was apparently known as the best among the younger people. Even the experienced acknowledged his skills.

"Oh yeah?" he replied, walking towards me while flipping the pistol. "You go then."

I could feel him towering over me from behind, his breath hitting my neck as he bent down. Sending tingles over my body, he rested his chin on my neck, handing me the gun.

I held the gun up, aiming at the head. Once again, the body began moving toward me.

"Shoot," ordered Sunghoon.

I gulped and pulled the trigger, the bullet going straight through the body's eyes, falling down.

Sunghoon began to clap, "Wasn't so hard, right?"

"Of course not." I lied, thinking about how I would be shooting at real people, not dolls.

A moment after I had finished my thinking, I felt a gun to my head.

Sunghoon was holding it. I frowned at him and he pulled me closer, anger written across his face.

"Take this shit seriously, Minju. Once you go out in the real field, you'd be dead. Why? Cause you're not being serious about any of this." he whispered, pinning me against the wall.

"What? I am serious. What about me isn't-"

He pushed the gun closer to my head. "I brought you here because I wanted to give you a chance, to not let you go. If you're really going to mess this up, my father would have me kill you."

"Sunghoon, what-" I said, but he just punched the wall.

"You don't get it! You're going to be targeted because they know you're a weakness for us! If you die you have no idea what could happen!"

"Which is why we started training! Now can we go back to 'seriousness' like you said or are you going to continue blabbering?" I said, anger filling me up. How bipolar was he?

"You don't understa- whatever." he started, but then sighed. "I shouldn't have gotten you involved."

"God, do you really expect me to become some mafia agent who's perfect at everything on their first day of training!?"

"No, but you should at least try to become one of them!"

"Honestly, is this how everyone new here gets treated?"

"Yes, because nothing about being in a mafia is for fun, or for laughs," replied Sunghoon, his eyes glistening, his arms still caging me.

"Then forget it. I don't want to-"

I was beginning to say how I wanted to quit, but I had just realized how close me and him were. Our lips were inches away from brushing, his breathing heavy against them. Sunghoon had also realized, as his gaze fell onto my lips.
