Chapter 25

Chris's POV

I went to look for Miley. She was no where to be found. I asked her friends, but they had no idea. Natalie said she didn't know anything. I searched all the rooms, when I heard a familiar voice screaming. I opened the door, it wasn't locked. What I saw made me angry and felt bad for the girl.

I saw the drunk man with a girl who was crying and yelling. She was trying to hit the guy, but he was just so strong and heavy. I couldn't see the girl's face because the guy was trying to kiss her. I have to do something, I can't let this guy ruin the poor girl's life, but I knew if we fought, he would win. My eyes fell into a huge lamp on one of the cabinet. I unplugged it and hit it on the guy's head so hard that he passed out. I dropped the lamp, and went by the girl. I gave her a huge hug. She just sat there crying, not moving an inch. I saw her face, and it was Miley. Tears ran from my eyes as I saw her lovely red eyes filled with tears. I wiped them away, told her "it's okay, I'm here."

She hugged me back, relieved there was someone who cared about her. She was calm now, her face was on my chest. She looked at my face, and I was looking back. I looked down at her lips and eyes back. Without thinking about anything, but her, I kissed her. This was a magical kiss. She kissed me back. I was getting out of control because I was starting to kiss her neck. I stopped, thinking about her and how she would regret this. She laid on the bed, her eyes looking at the ceiling. I went next to her, and just looked at her. I didn't think this was the right time to talk about what Natalie said to me so I kept my mouth shut and enjoyed the moment.

She closed her eyes and started whispering. I couldn't hear her so I put her head on my shoulder. "I know you hate me, it's kind of obvious because you always ignore me. Natalie doesn't talk to me either ever since she found out that I like-" she stopped right there.

I wasn't ignoring her, I thought she didn't like me, even as a friend. I thought she hated me. "I don't hate it. I wanted to because of what Natalie told me about you." She shivered so I put the blanket on her.

"What did she say about me?"  

I told her about everything she told me. She was angry, thinking about what to say to me...I took that as a yes that it was true, and turned away from her...
