Chapter 18

I meet Liz and Ciara after last period. I told them Natalie invited me to her birthday party. They were both so happy.

Ciara "Okay so what are we gonna wear..?"

Liz "Well...maybe jeans and a nice tank top."

Me "or a cute dress." I actually loved getting ready for parties and stuff. I would always wear dresses for parties.

Ciara "Yeah! I want to wear a dress."

Liz "ughh!! You guys know how much I hate dresses." That was true. She's always wear jeans. Not even skirts, but I don't like skirts that much.

Me and Ciara started laughing. This was annoying Liz, but it was pretty funny. I always loved teasing her about the stuff/people that she hated. She would easily get pissed off. We walked outside, an were just talking for a bit. We couldn't walk home because I got my car. Ciara had to stay after school to make up the days she missed in school. I decided to drop Liz off to her house.

We were listening to Z100, and Liz was dancing like crazy. I was cracking up. Liz actually dated some guys before. They were all good looking. She's not dating anyone now because I'm not. She will get a boyfriend when I get one. I guess she's gonna have to wait for a few years because I'm not getting one till then. Not that my parents don't want me to date.

I dropped off Liz after watching her dance like a monkey. I went home and had a snack. I didn't have any homework so I went in John's (my little brother) room. He was watching pretty little liars. I can't believe my brother watches it. I tease him about it. I jumped on his bed and started watching tv. He scowled, but after he moved to the other side of the bed to give me some space. After dinner, I came back in his room again because we were watching his favorite movie, and I was actually enjoying it.

I opened my eyes, but I realized I wasn't in my room. Oh, right. Last night, me and John were watching tv, and I slept here. Last night was like a brother and sister night. I don't think he spies on me anymore. Or I should say Mike (my older brother) orders him to. Mike went to college so he probably doesn't have time or just forgot.

I walk over to my room and get ready quickly. I was a little late today. I think I went to sleep at 12 yesterday. I put on some make up today with eyeliner. I take Mike's car and like always I checked my phone. I got a message from Liz and this is what it said:

"Hey, guess what?"

"Okay you're not replying so I'm just gonna say it. I got this beautiful dress that I'll wear at Natalie's party. I'll send you the picture. Tell me what you think about it."

OH MY GOD!! My best friend has changed. I'm so happy and excited. I can't wait to see her wear it, but I can't believe she got it THIS EARLY. Natalie's party was still weeks away, I remembered Ciara once told me. Speaking of Natalie (a.k.a devil) and her birthday party, I still haven't opened her invitation card...
