Chris's POV
I stare at her from the far. She was looking absolutely gorgeous with her hair, makeup, dress, and everything about her. It felt like she was the birthday girl, not Natalie. I saw her go to the bathroom, covering her mouth. I followed her, but she closed the door. She came out, looking all fine.
That was it, Chris. You have to talk to her, like she said. You can't believe what other people are saying until you hear it right from the person itself. I had decided that it was time to find out the truth. Even if the truth was going to sink my heart in my chest, it was going to be alright.
I was going to her, until someone stopped me. Natalie was telling me to avoid Miley. I knew she hated her, that's why I couldn't believe her. Natalie told me 3 weeks ago about Miley's truth.
She said Miley never liked me. She never cared about me. They were best friends before, and she told her about me. That I didn't deserve this life. That I was vicious arrogant. Reckless. Harsh. Hateful. Heartless. She said I torture girls, and abuse them. I didn't have a heart or a brain. She said I was a player, not caring about girls that adore him. I moved here because I was about to go to jail. (Guys, that's not true. It's just a part of what Natalie said.)
That day, I was lost and confused, but also pained and felt defeated. I was hurt by Miley. I felt like rotten smelled cheese that was thrown away after it was bad, except I wasn't the bad guy here, she was...Chris, you don't know that yet.
Natalie told me not to go in front of Miley. She reminded me about those things that she said about me. But I couldn't listen to Natalie anymore. I was now next to Miley, and her dazzling, sparkling eyes glared at me with confusion.
