Um...what was I going to tell Jake? He wants me to drop him off to school. He always goes with Dad, not me because he goes to school early. Today, he was a little late. Should I just give him a ride and make sure he doesn't see Chris's jacket? I don't know! I can't tell him about Chris, even though he told me about his girlfriend. He was still waiting for an answer. I couldn't turn him down, and I think Dad already left. Mom goes to work late, like at 9 am. I can't let my little brother walk to school.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go." I tried to smile a little, but I kept thinking about Chris's jacket. We walked downstairs together. I picked up my phone from the dining table. I opened the door, and headed out to the car. Jake was behind me, texting on his phone. I hope he stays on it till we reach the school. He sat in the front seat next to me. I put on my seat belt, and looked behind me to see the jacket. If Jake looked back, he could see it! Jake saw me staring at the back seat, I looked away quickly. But it was late because he glanced at where I was peeking. Oh no...

"Miley, whose is that?" He asked me while still looking at the jacket. He picked it up and stared at it, turning it all around. "I know it's not yours because it's a guy's jacket. Mike took all his clothes with him. Dad doesn't wear jackets like these. This is not-"

"Will you stop being an investigator?"Jake will figure it out somehow. He wants to be a detective when he grows up...

"Whose is this?" He was serious now. It's okay if he knows, anyways, he wasn't going to tell mom and dad. My little brother deserves to know.

"Chris McNeil's." I think he knows him. I've seen them together once talking.

"And how is his jacket here?" Oh my god, he should stop asking me all these questions.

"He's my boyfriend." There, I said it. Now, kill me, little brother.

"Oh, cool." What? He;s okay with it. I mean before he was so strict about me having boyfriends. Now, he was cool with it...? I guess it was fine because he didn't care about it. But I kind of missed the old Jake who always annoyed me.

We drove to school without talking, just listening to z100. When we approached there, I took Chris's jacket that was still on Jake's lap. I guess he forgot about it. I chuckled quietly. Jake got out the car, and went to his friends that were waiting for him near the front door. I was still sitting in the car looking out the window. I saw Chris with his friends, he was searching through all the cars. He found me in my car, and directed towards me.
