tyler knocked softly on his cousin's bedroom door before placing his ear against it hoping to hear the familiar voice he loved, slowly fluttering her eyes open halle sat up yawning. "hals? are you hungry sorry for waking you". tyler asked glancing briefly at the food on the plate.
at the mention of food halle's stomach growled loudly "okay sweetie mommy is hungry too". making her way over towards the door she unlocked it before swinging it open looking up at tyler who smiled warmly at her "what's up sleeping beauty, are you hungry?". halle nodded to his question before stepping aside allowing him inside the room, "cash went to grab you a juice box".
turning the lights on tyler took a seat beside halle before handing her the tray of food eyeing her as she stare blankly at it, "what's wrong?". he asked wrapping his arm around her shoulder "where's jack?". she tiredly asked taking a huge bite out of the hash brown "went to a club with some of his boys i think".
tyler eyed halle's smooth legs before lifting them into his lap "what are you doing ty?". she asked looking over him, shoving another forkful of her salad into her mouth halle unknowingly ate several small walnuts... "oh nothing just making sure your comfortable". halle nodded taking a bite out of the vegan bagel.
"why is he at the club on christmas eve? i thought nothing would be open". she mumbled allowing tyler to pull her into him, "believe me it's plenty open right now".
"halle i got your juice". cash sweetly said running towards the bed before holding it towards her "aww thank you sweetie, your cousin will appreciate it".
"how?". he asked eyeing her stomach in question "him talk to you?". halle smiled giggling "not yet sweetie but your cousin loves sweets so thank you for the juice". gently wrapping his arms around her stomach cash kissed it before running off leaving the two alone.
"you feeling better?". tyler asked rubbing his hand against her smooth arm "not really, my throat hurts". halle mumbled glancing down at the food in question.
tyler's eyebrows furrowed in concern eyeing halle who looked visibly pale in the face "i-um". she wheezed out unable to breathe, "hals? what's wrong wait are you allergic to anything on this plate?".
she was indeed allergic to the walnuts she accidentally ate while talking to tyler...
cupping the sides of her face tyler glanced over her bright red face "n-nuts". she choked out gripping tyler's shoulders as tears welled in her eyes, "oh fuck". he thought, he had made her a small side salad that indeed had walnuts included in it.
