since it's been awhile lol this is tyler jack's younger cousinalso cash's father & very much in love with HALLE who has no idea thinks his act of going above and beyond is friendly because they are indeed family by marriage.
the baby monitor on the nightstand blasted melody's loud cries slowly fluttering his eyes open jack gazed around the dark bedroom before slowly sitting up wincing in pain.
rubbing the sleep from his eyes he looked down at his wife who continued to sleep through their daughter's crying, out of all the years he'd known her she was the lighter sleeper out of them both every little sound or noise would have her waking up but since being discharged from the hospital jackman noticed the different changes in his wife.
not wanting halle to wake up jack reached over grabbing the baby monitor turning it down before swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, lifting his body into the wheelchair he quickly wheeled his way into the hallway into melody's room.
"shhh princess i'm here now". jack softly says wheeling over to the crib before slowly standing up, "you are way too pretty to be crying like that princess". he whispered gently cradling her close to his chest, melody cries instantly died down at the sound of her father's voice.
"are you hungry princess?". he softly asks pinching her cheeks, wheeling them to the kitchen jackman placed melody in the swing before heating her bottle up.
"hey you could of woke one of us up to help out". clay says glancing at chloe who nodded rubbing her tired eyes "nah it's okay she's my daughter and i don't mind waking up to feed or change her".
"did halle wake up this time?". chloe asked hopeful.
jack let out a big sigh "n-no, her behavior is scaring me i haven't seen her hold or acknowledge melody since the visit from the hospital did anything happen while i was sleeping?".
chloe glanced over at clay twisting her lip to the side, "s-she started drinking jackman, going out with tyler more and we both think she has postpartum depression which could explain her behavior towards melody".
the two watched jack's face fall "no do not blame yourself jackman i know you are right now but that car accident wasn't your fault you protected them both we just have to pray halle gets better okay?". he nodded gazing down at melody who had long dozed off after finishing after the bottle.
"we're gonna make breakfast hopefully she'll come downstairs and eat with us, go relax on the couch or something old man".
