a hand gently moved halle's locs out her face waking her she gazed into the familiar hazel eyes "hey hals i'm sorry for waking you i was trying move your hair back". tyler whispered flashing a small smile at her. "it's okay ty". she softly said glancing around for her water bottle.
tyler grabbed the bottle off the nightstand before taking a seat on her bed holding the straw towards her lips, the two stared at each other as halle slow drank the water.
"thank you".
it was around three am and halle was still heavily sedated to realize visiting hours were long over. "how are you feeling?". tyler asked cupping her face.
"i'm exhausted and my chest hurts". she softly said, tyler rubbed his thumb against her smooth cheek. "you scared everyone including me i-i thought you left cash and i". bringing her body closer to his tyler held halle tightly.
"can you please sleep with me?". halle asked glancing up at tyler who playfully licked his lips making her laugh "not like that quit playing ty". she said weakly punching his chest.
"i don't want your parents or sister to get the wrong impression". halle pouted unwrapping tyler's arms from around her before laying back down turning her back to him.
fluttering her eyes closed a warm body slid behind halle "i'll leave once you fall asleep okay?". turning towards him halle scooted closer laying underneath his chin shutting her eyes.
tyler pulled her closer before rubbing halle's back luring her to sleep "thank you". she tiredly whispered soon falling asleep, tyler stayed awake holding halle who snuggled closer to him.
"it's no problem hals".

later that morning
"why the hell are you laying in my sister bed for!?". tyler heard the familiar voice making his eyes snap open staring confusingly around halle's hospital room.
the nurse continued to work quietly beside them checking halle's vitals before giving her more medicine through iv, "chloe stop being loud i don't feel good". chloe heard her sister's soft voice. "hals why is tyler sleeping in your bed? how was he even allowed inside when you told everyone to leave!".
snatching the hospital blanket back chloe shook her head in disapproval "and he's practically naked on top of that!! tyler get the hell out my sister room".
