"So, we have to save science guy from the demons and get information from him on why Li is after him?" I ask. Pete caught me up to speed on everything that's happened over the week while I've been prepping for finals this semester. Over that time, I've been studying with Kyouko, although she has been acting strange lately, giving me these weird looks.
"That's about the gist of it." Pete says. We stand in front of a building with demons knocked out around us and Police cuffing them.
"Fucking terrorist, Thanks for the assist, Spider-Man." The officer says and I give him a small wave.
"Welp, we should get star-". Pete gets cut off as Yuri's voice comes through our earpiece.
"Hey, do either one of you have time to check something out for me." Yuri says.
"Not really, but if you ask nicely, I can give you someone who is available." Pete says as he looks at me. I give a small sigh a
"Just got a call about a suspicious looking box on a rooftop in Hell's Kitchen. I could call in the bomb squad but if it turns out to be a kid's science project."
"Yeah, I know, budget crisis the usual. So?" Pete asks waiting for her to say please. Yuri gives a sigh before answering.
"Will you please check it out."
"There's the magic word. I'll have Aracnakid check it out. I'm a little busy with the demons at the moment." He says. I can just see the shitty smirk under that mask.
"I told you to stop calling me that. Don't worry Yuri I'm on my way over there." I say before hanging up. Pete laughs as I swing off but not before shooting a web at his face.

I make it to Hell's Kitchen and swing around the area for a bit before seeing a box sitting there on a roof. I land next to it and give it a look over. The box is rather large, about as big as a coffee table. Its black with a yellow T on the top. I go to /////touch the box before a voice calls out.
"Are you really sure you should be touching random boxes on rooftops." A girl's voice says with a mild Russian accent. I turn around ready to give a sarcastic remark and see a blonde girl leaning on a sword and holy shit is she wearing a fucking X-Men suit! Is she an X-Men?
