I may have had my qualms with this alternate Peter, but given the choice between him and Petra, I'd pick him in a heartbeat. Still, as we touched down onto the helipad of Oscorp, the city's glowing skyline behind us, the urgency of the situation overshadowed any interpersonal qualms.

Peter turned to Petra, his expression grave. "I should warn you. Goblin's no joke. He's-"

Petra cut him off with a wave of her hand, her confidence undeterred. "I've faced Norma before. If he's just a male version of her, then it's nothing I haven't handled."

I raised an eyebrow, my tone dripping with sarcasm. "We'll just see about that."

Before any of us could react further, the side of the towering Oscorp building exploded with an unexpected ferocity. Debris rained down around us as a thick plume of smoke rose into the air. As the dust began to settle, a menacing figure emerged, silhouetted against the fiery backdrop: Goblin. Well, female Goblin.

The scent of burning metal and concrete lingered in the air, a direct result of the dramatic entry the woman had made. "Don't you know how to use a door lady. That whole blowing up the wall was very unnecessary" I tell her.

As the dust began to settle, a familiar, grotesque figure emerged from the haze on a glider. Peter quickly pointed him out. "There's my Goblin.

Petra, with a raised eyebrow, sized him up. "So Goblin can be a man I guess, or is he more of monster."

A wicked grin stretched across Goblin's face, revealing his sharp, predatory teeth. "Why can't I be both?" Without much of a warning, a rain of bombs descended upon us. Dodging with a grace, I managed to web one of the bombs, flinging it back in Goblin's direction. But of course, because things can't be easy, a missile from his glider intercepted my counterattack, causing a mid-air explosion.

As Peter nimbly avoided Norma's relentless assault, he quipped, "Honestly, given the options, I'd just label him 'monster' and call it a day."

"I don't know. He's giving me more 'Halloween reject' than 'man' vibes." I reply to Pete

Fierce determination glittered in Petra's eyes. "Man, monster, reject. Doesn't matter. I'm taking him down."

Peter called out in warning, his voice tinged with urgency, "His powers are strong! Don't let your guard down!"

Petra was already charging, her voice filled with resolve. "Don't worry, I'll take care of the big guy. You two just try to keep Norma busy and not get hurt."

"Like hell you are, I'm calling dibs on beating him." I say as I shoot a web and swing myself towards him. Petra and I descended upon Goblin simultaneously. I fired off web after web, attempting to ensnare him, while Petra launched herself into the air, using her agility to her advantage. The sight of the two of us battling Goblin would have been a magnificent sight to behold had it not been so dire.
