Halloween Fiasco

What better way to enjoy Halloween than staying inside and enjoying horror movies, games, and get away from the world for a bit. I lay on my bed watching The Conjuring. As I pop popcorn into my mouth, I hear an irritating tapping sound from my window. I get up and walk over and open the ///// window just to duck a pebble. I peer over and see Pietro standing outside in a gorilla body suit, just without the mask.

""Hey, Y/n, my dude!" Quicksilver greeted me with a cocky grin " Whatcha doin' tonight?"

"First, what the fuck are you wearing, and second, why are throwing shit at my window."

"To answer that first one, it's my costume for you know Hallow-"

"I know it's Halloween you dipshit, I'm asking why a gorilla."

"Because why the fuck not, gorillas are cool as shit. Also, I'm here to get you out of that house and to join me for a house party. It's going to be me, Illyana, and my sister. I already had a shitty time trying to convince Wanda and I'd rather not have that happen with you."

"Yeah, I'd rather not."

" Dude trust me, this party's going to be legendary. It's gonna rock your world, Spidey."

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Legendary, I highly doubt it."

Pietro scoffed, rolling his eyes dramatically. "Come on, Y/n! It'll be fun!

"Alright, alright, you've got my attention. But you better have some solid convincing points, Pietro."

Pietro's grin transformed into a triumphant smirk. "First and foremost, there's gonna be free food and drinks and It's going to be a buffet. I mean a big one too. Anything you can imagine. And there's gonna be a costume contest, winner gets $600."

"Fine, on one condition. I want half of that $600 if you win it."

"You got a deal." He says with a grin.

"Just give me a second, I'll be right out." I say before closing the window. I make my way over to my floorboard before opening it and pulling out my suit. I throw it on and make my way outside.

"Cmon you can't just wear your suit." Pietro says.

"I wear this or I stay." I say pulling off my mask.

Pietro gives a long groan "Fine. Let's go." He says walking away.

We make it to the party, and I must say. Pietro undersold the house part as we stood in front of a fucking mansion. People littered the front yard and the doors to the mansion were wide open, displaying even more people inside. Halloween decorations ranging from pumpkins, lights, spider webs covered the Mansion.

"How did you find out about this party?" I ask.

Pietro smirks, his cockiness evident. "Let's just say I have my ways of finding out about the coolest parties in town."

I roll my eyes playfully. "Of course you do. Well, let's see if this one lives up to the hype."

As we enter the mansion, the music and chatter fill the air. The place is packed with people in all sorts of costumes, ranging from classic monsters to pop culture references. The atmosphere is vibrant and festive, with an unmistakable sense of excitement in the air. I can't help but notice Illyana in the distance, standing by a table filled with Halloween-themed snacks. Even though she's focused on the snacks in front of her, her eyes dart to us, a mix of annoyance and curiosity evident in her gaze. "Well, well, well, look who decided to show up," she teases, crossing her arms. "I wasn't expecting to see you here, Y/n."
