Nine months later
I take of sip of the smoothie in my cup before making my way out of the juice bar with Renesmee and Claire. The three of us have been hanging out for the day since Renesmee is off work, and Claire doesn't have school because it's the weekend. We all decided to ride with Renesmee and go out for smoothies since it's sunny outside today and a slightly warm since it's the month of March. I'm going to give birth any day now, I just know it. Sam and Emily had a baby girl last weekend. Paul and I haven't had the chance to go visit them in a few weeks but we want to meet her. Sam told Paul they named her McKenna Joy Uley, I really can't wait to go visit them.
Renesmee, Claire, and I sit together at the table and chairs outside of the juice bar as we begin talking.
"You guys, I could really use some advice." Claire suddenly pipes up.
"Sure, what's up?" I answer her.
"Since you both are in happy relationships, I thought I would ask you guys... Sorry if this is awkward, Willow because I know Quil is your cousin." She begins, "When is too soon to tell a guy you're in love with him?"
"Oh.. How long have you guys been dating again?" Renesmee asks curiously.
"A month now." Claire answers.
"I mean, I think a month or two in is fine to tell the person that you love them. It's not like you're telling him after a week of dating." I reply.
"Yeah, plus he's also not a complete stranger you just started dating. You've known him for forever." Renesmee responds.
"True... I just don't want him to feel awkward if he doesn't feel that way about me yet." She replies softly. I take another sip of my drink.
"I don't want to speak for him, but I've seen the way he looks at you since you guys started dating. He could very well feel that way about you now, too." Renesmee tells her.
"Yeah, she's right. I think he could anyway." I chime in, Claire meekly smiles.
"You guys really think he could love me back?" She sounds so hopeful, I grin.
"How could he not? What's not to love about you?" I tell her, this makes her face light up.
"Okay, I think I'm going to tell him." She sighs nervously. "Next time we go out on another date, after he drops me back off at home I'm going to tell him."
"Sounds good." Renesmee smiles at her.
"Well, should we head to Port Angeles next and do some shopping?" Renesmee pipes up.
"Yeah! I need some new leggings anyway." I reply as we all stand up from our seats. I grab my drink from the table and take another sip from it, when I look back up I see Renesmee and Claire's eyes widen as Claire's jaw is to the floor.
"What's wrong?" I ask them curiously before I feel the liquid run down my thighs. Oh, no.
"You're water just broke!" Claire exclaims.
"Oh my gosh! We've gotta get you to the hospital." Renesmee chimes in as she grabs her car keys from her purse. I frown and grab my stomach before wincing in pain as I feel what I am going to assume is a contraction.
