Ever since day one, Seth has come by to see Hazel and she is more than happy to have his company. She smiles even more when he is near, and I love that dearly. He seems to smile more around her too, they both have grown this incredible relationship in a matter of two months. Seth has taken Hazel to La Push to go swimming when the weather is nice which she loves, or he comes over and she makes him watch movies with her. He's over so often that occasionally he will just crash on the couch so I ended up buying him a toothbrush to keep over here for when he stays the night. That's Hazel's favorite when he comes to stay the night with her, sometimes she falls asleep on the couch beside him with Apollo beside the coffee table.
And he spoils her, Seth has bought her more Barbies and Barbie toys than she ever could have asked for. I think her favorite was when he bought her the Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus cloud kingdom set. She had a look of complete joy in her face when he bought her that, she plays with it constantly.

Today is Hazel's sixth birthday, and she's naturally very excited for it. This year, she wanted to have a mermaid themed party. It all started when Seth took her to go see Barbie: Mermaidia. The love for mermaids and Barbie combined began. So after renting out the party room at the recreation center, Paul, Renesmee, Quil, my mom and I began filling it with pastel purple and pink balloons as well as mermaid decorations. Seth has taken Hazel to the park, she has no idea she's having a mermaid birthday party as we wanted it to be a surprise for her. He's going to bring her over here at two O'clock when her friends and family arrive. There's an indoor swimming pool here too so I made sure to bring Hazel's swimsuit as well as telling her friends' parents to bring swimsuits for their kids too.

Terrance comes in through the door with the large mermaid cake in hand, we asked him if he would go pick it up from the bakery for us.

"Hi! Thank you so much." I greet as I hold the door open for him.

He sets the cake down on the decorated table. The cake is beautiful, it's pastel colors of blue, pink, and purple. The details of mermaid scale as scattered all over the cake, and there are tiny candy pearls placed in all the right spots. At the top of the cake sticking up there is a pink banner that says, "Happy Birthday, Hazel!" It's so pretty.

"She's going to love it." Terrance smiles. Hazel is his world.

When she's not with Seth she's either with my mom, Terrance and Nelly's since they ended up getting back together, I love that they did. It makes me very happy and I can tell Paul is happy about it too.

Emily, Sam, and their six year old daughter McKenna is the first to arrive. She's only a week older than Hazel, but they are the best of friends.
McKenna is a beautiful little girl. She has honey brown eyes and dark wavy locks, her skin is smooth and sun kissed and she always has a bright smile on her face. She likes Barbie too, which is what she and Hazel bond over the most when they're around each other.

McKenna peeks out from behind Emily's arm and smiles up at me.

"Is Hazel here yet?" She asks with hope in her voice.

"Not yet, Seth will be bringing her over soon." I tell her sweetly, she smiles happily.

Sam holds a colorfully wrapped present in his hands.

"Oh, I'll take that. Thanks." I say to him as I place it with the other wrapped presents, he gives me a polite smile.

The rest of Hazel's friends from school also arrive now. There's Hailey who's five, Kayla who is six, and Joslyn who just turned six as well. The three begin talking with McKenna who happily begins bringing Barbie into the conversation. My eyes flicker to the clock, Hazel and Seth should be here any minute now.

My phone chimes as I check it, it's a text from Seth.

Hey, we're here. I told her we're stopping here to play in the rec room. She has no idea.
